| ogivlado (242), Zagreb, Croatia | | May 15, 2012 Not so close to city center but it’s reachable by public transport. Two house beers plus one special (Polotmavy Špecial 13) at the time. There’s also small childrens playground right next to patio. Now the service...- There were two waitresses for entire patio (about 20 tables), first one was doing everything and second one managed to show up twice within hour and half. Usual food, interesting and funny men toilet. | | YULbier (209), Brno, Czech Republic | | November 4, 2011 50 minutes walk from the old town. 2 excellent in-house made beers on the day of my visits. Superb svetle and tmave that has nothing to envy to czech pivo, appart the price that is slightly higher. Nice terrasse, free unlocked wifi, beautiful waitresses : makes you want to linger for a longer time that usual... | | Cuso (82), Bratislava, Slovak Republic | | September 13, 2011 Beer pub out of center. On tap there are 2 own brewed beers and Radegast Birell non alcoholic beer. Food is nice, mostly typical for region. Staff is quick and friendly. | tipsytoad (7), , Jersey does not count - explanation | | April 23, 2011 If you are in Bratislava you have to come here. New bp about 10 mins oiutside the old town centre. You can get the trolley 212 to stop Patronsky and walk back 2mins down the main road or a take a taxi for not a lot. It is a very new brewpub from 2010 serving 2 beers, the coffee accented dark lager Tmave 11 which was excellent but the standout Svetly Lezak 11.5, a beautiful Czech style lager with billowing head, cloudy golden body and saaz infused scent which just is near perfect. The place was busy on my visit and the food was excellent with a good choice for all tastes inc some indulgent deserts. Best destination in Bratislava and up there with the best in the neighbouring Czech Republic’s pantheon of greats. | | PeterA (15), , Slovak Republic | | October 10, 2010 A brand new brewpub in Bratislava, if I read correctly, it’s been open for about a week. The menu only shows one beer brewed on premises, Patron Svetly 11.5. They’ve got four taps, one is for the local version of coke, the other for a non-alcoholic beer. That leaves a free tap for something. The food was typical Slovak fare, so it’s heavy. I thought it was well prepared. They have a childrens’ menu with spaghetti, chicken, and something else.
It has well separated smoking and non-smoking areas and an outdoor terrace overlooking their own playground.
Overall, I was pleased but would be happier if they had another beer brewed on premises available. Hopefully, one is coming. I’ll be back to check. |
