Awesome place! Total dive bar with the only food being chili. Great bartender, she was a blast. We were there on a Monday and it was quiet but the few locals that were there were super friendly. Great selection of beers including lots of guest drafts and bottles. I wish this were in my town as I would be there a few times a week. Highly recommended.

Total dive-bar... I love it. Ed and Wanda are great characters. The food menu of chili accompanied by most anything is humorous. There is little possibility to validate many of the brews here as it appears when something is "off" its given a new name and style; two of the beers we sampled had soured due to a broken refrigeration tank and got rebranded "Meltdown Brown" and "Mother Pucker". Still my favourite place in PA.

Beer/Dive bar with a lot of local character by the way of photos, decorations, and signs. Hometown flavor with some screens, pool table, darts, etc. No real kitchen available; but they have homemade chili and offer burgers etc via a portable mini warmer/cooker. House beers on tap are somewhat decent, along with various guest taps and bottles. It is not unheard of to randomly catch a surprisingly nice tap or bottle here, but most of the offerings will be fairly common for most of us. However, chances are, you will find something that is at least worth a taste. I would not bother making a trek for the sake of this place; but if you happen to be in the area, it might be worth a quick stop.

Been here a few times, sure I had entered a rating. Good selection, first time I was here they Had Deschutes XX so I got a growler for $12 ($11 a bomber in Bakersfield) I had to drink two growlers that week and it was much better on draft. Great homemade chili and good beers that they brew! Really nice local brewpub, just a few easy walking blocks from where my son lived.

2010-06. Visited on a Wednesday afternoon last June, we had just finished a long hike in the Olympic National Park and were ready for a good beer. We tried eight of their own brews, which were all fine. Met and chatted briefly with one of the owners who was quite friendly and serving everyone. Didn’t eat but watched Seattle beat the NY Yankees 3-0 on the television. A funky place to hang out, would probably return if nearby.

Stopped in for a brew on my way to the Sol-Duc Hot Springs. Cool little blue collar joint that has plenty of options for all sorts of beer drinkers. Everything from Pabst to this heavier Big Ass Red Plum BW I’m drinking currently. Really friendly (and intoxicated) faces all over. I can tell this place must get hoppin’ at points. Definitely worth a visit.

If you are in the area Peaks if absolutely worth the visit. If Ed happens to be behind bar you are in for a treat....he’s a hoot. My wife and I stopped in on a trip around the National Park for lunch a a few pints. The house IPA was better than any of the guest tap selections and the food was typical bar food but nothing special. Fun, friendly and worth the visit. Stop in.

2010-06. Sports bar meets dive bar meets old tavern. Big screen with the baseball game on, pool table. Servers are quite friendly. Decent list of guest taps and house brews. Mileage may vary on the house brews, some are quite good while some are less so. Very friendly owner Wanda (of the Defuca fame) came over to chat after seeing us geeking it up with our notebooks. Worth a stop if you are in town.

Stopped in for a quick beer and lunch on my way around Olympic National Park. Small neighborhood bar, with tiny brewing facilities. The food was basic burgers, chili, etc. and was very average. I had a house made IPA that was decent, but the selection of guest taps was fairly impressive for a pub like this. Some taps of note included Alaskan Barleywine, Deschutes Dissident, and Port Townsend Triple Hop Diggity. They also had bottles to go which included good stuff like HOTD Fred, Deschutes Abyss and Goose Island Bourbon County Stout. I would reccomend stopping by if you are in the area.

Take a drive to Port Angeles Washington and see the lone Brewpub of the Northwestern most area of Washington State. Right off highway 101 there is Peaks. A small little brewpub trying to make it in a PBR town. They have a small brewing system sitting in the middle of the pub encased in glass so you can watch the boys brew when they are hard at work. I was in the area and the drive up is awesome loved seeing the Olympic range and Hurricane ridge. I arrived after much anticipation for some great beer. We stopped somewhere else for dinner due to hearing they really do not have much food. After seeing the kitchen now we understand why you stop somewhere else have dinner then go to Peaks for a Pint. Yes they have several beers but they where down to one tap of there stuff due to the Great Canadian Beer Festival. So are you saying they do not have enough beer to have some at both places? Yeppers… They had one tap of ESB flowing and that was it. They did have other beer from other great brewers but there stuff was north to Canada. They also have about 20 bottles off stuff to sell there or to go and it was top notch also. I would like to try more of the there brewed beers. I wish Ed was there he sounds like the person to actually talk to. The Bartender nice but really did not know much. I was a tad disappointed with the entire experience. I know I will be back in the area for vacation and seeing the mountains or going to Victoria so I will stop just to see if it has gotten better. But for my money this was not am impressive place. So unless your going this direction for a trip to see the Olympic Mountains and or go to Victoria BC. Don’t waste the gas for this place.
