| RABinVA (17), Fredericksburg, Virginia | | May 19, 2012 Went for happy hour with co-workers. Nothing too interesting beer-wise on the menu, but I had the rye lager and english cask pale ale and both were pleasant enough. Good, fun, laid back environment. Food is excellent and very reasonably priced with a lot of variety. | | csaso (71), Missouri | | May 8, 2012 Nice place in dowtown COS. 11 of theor own beers on tap, the few I had were very good. Food is also pretty good, seems reasonably priced. | | miguelmayo (11), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | April 3, 2012 MEH, my first 3 visits did not precipitate any yee haa moments, the beer was pretty good save one red ale that I had to spit out, but he bar maid she made it right with a different brew that was much much better, worth another try, needs improvement with the likes of trinity and bristol in the neighborhood! The quality they offer is substantially greater. | | MrRomero (109), Nolanville, Texas | | January 25, 2012 Went here for lunch and had a good time. I sat at the bar and was served by Lyle who did a great job tending to our needs. 11 beers on tap. The Hefeweizen was okay. The IPA was better. I had the Pork Green Chile for lunch and it was very good. Served with store-bought tortillas (not very good) but the pretzels with beer cheese complimented the chile very well. A good place to visit. | | ads135 (49), Lawrence, | | November 20, 2011 Went here on a trip with the mining camps of Philmont to Colorado Springs in 2009. Went with the CD from Cypher’s Mine. A yuppie establishment, but clean with decent beer. Worth a return trip. | | fredandboboflo (62), East Setauket, New York | | August 13, 2011 The whole place was so-so, aside from some great food. Nice look to the place with some patio seating and an open, sunlit interior, but it also felt a bit like a restaurant with some beers since most folks seemed to be ordering mixed drinks and the like. They did have a wide range of beer on tap, including two admittedly tasty casks, but outside of those casks, there was little to get excited about in the way of quality. Service was pretty average, a bit unattentive if anything. | | LilBeerDoctor (185), East Setauket, New York | | July 30, 2011 A nice brewpub in downtown Colorado Springs. It was quite packed on the Sunday afternoon that we visited, although most patrons were getting lunch and not beers. They had a number of taps on (10 I believe) with 2 of those casks. Most were on the mediocre side, with a couple good and a couple not-so-good. Split the artichoke dip with beer-battered bread - super tasty - and a cheese soup which was super cheesy and creamy. Good food overall. It was a nice place, nice atmosphere (perhaps a little strange that people weren’t drinking beer), with ok beer. | | maltdog (68), Colorado | | May 9, 2011 Lunch on a Sunday. Busy but not packed. Nice atmosphere, comfortable. Lots of familes and mountain bikers. Eight-beer sampler... most above average, amber was great (and hoppier than the IPA). Amply-portioned food was delicious and service was outstanding. Prices very reasonable, especially considering the quality and location. A good experience, I’d go back. | | nbutler11 (226), Phoenix, Arizona | | March 3, 2011 A landmark in the Springs. Happy to return recently to notice little change in 6 years. They’ve even stepped up their beer game! Multiple levels of beer, pool, and pub fare. A great place for groups, too. | | philbertk (15), Seattle, Washington | | November 25, 2010 Good food. Average Beer. Nice location and open rustic decor. Overpriced Beer. Minimal Vegetarian offerings. |
