74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 b727trijet (150) Isleworth, England | February 26, 2013 Good selection of house brews and most were good examples of their styles. Food ok but slightly below brewpub standards. Stays open late and was grateful to have half pints (so I could try more) and for the wi-fi. | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 16/20 josarah (101) Hinesburg, Vermont | February 20, 2013 This place is frackin huge. 2 different bar areas, at least 3 or 4 differnet dining room. Nice woodwork everywhere. Plenty of swag.
Service was although not very personal. Food was pretty run of the mill pub fare.
The beer was a bit better than I expected. there were around a dozen offerings and some we just ok a couple pub only offering seemed to be a next step above.
If your at PIke Place this is a must. | 66 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 12/20 after4ever (213) Brier, Washington | February 6, 2013 You can’t beat the location. It’s right downtown. If you’re visiting, you probably hit the market, and here you are. If you’re entertaining visitors, they probably want to hit the market, and here you are. It strives to fit the Pike Place Market feel: they set it up like a rabbit warren, lots of connecting rooms and zig zagging hallways. Ceilings open up two stories overhead, and even a little more in spots. Intricate tilework floors, lots of woodwork, lots of breweriana. They really want you to feel some history. But then there’s the beer, striving to be slightly above average (aside from the XXXXX, which is quite good). The service, which is striving to be adequate, and that’s only when it remembers to strive. The crowd is downtown droids by day, fratty by weekend (they can’t help that very much, and these are crowds that order well, to be sure). The food’s ok. The second you walk in you want to just love it, and it’s certainly worth a visit. But you can focus your attention and wallet elsewhere to greater reward. | 88 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 20/20 Sapsticy (6) , | January 23, 2013 One of the reasons I love an IPA is because I have the pleasure to have one at Pike’s... I rdered it with a turkey sandwich and it was really great.
Also, they have this site where they sell souvenirs you can buy and I bought a t shirt that it just fine. | 80 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 16/20 DuffMan (217) the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta | November 23, 2012 Much bigger than I thought it would be! No trouble seating our large group, even with the post-Seahawks game crowd (of which we were a part). Couple limited releases on tap, tons of cool swag, good pub style food. Lots to look at if you are a collector of "all things beer"-- they even havea little museum within the brewpub. Very enjoyable stop, would come again (great for families too). | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 dresden (40) Saskatchewan | November 18, 2012 For some reason i was thinking about this place today and realized i have never rated it, though i’ve been a couple of times. Nice place to take a break from all the people in the market. I found the service to be quite poor both times I’ve gone with go up to the bar and pay for every drink. Good prices and the food was decent. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 13/20 AWISLguy (70) Wisconsin | November 11, 2012 Right by Pike’s Place Market with the gum wall in the alley behind. A mall-like building with the brew kettles sticking up into the center of the mall and the brewing aromas throughout. Downstairs is the pub with a restaurant area and a U shaped bar. 8 Pike choices and 4 external selections complete the list. Nice personality. Solid food. Beer choices are mostly meh. | 82 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 jcnielsen (138) Kansas City, Missouri | November 8, 2012 Visited while roadtripping through Oregon and Washington. Located very close to Pike Market. I wasn’t expecting to like this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. The beers surpassed my expectations and were generally pretty good. Definitely worth a visit if you are near the Pike Market area. | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 keepersj12 (62) Sicklerville, New Jersey | September 1, 2012 Cool place once you find it. Located right near the tourist areas, Pike Market etc. Wood and brewing equipment all over. Lots of taps with a wide range of brews. Didn’t eat but the food looked and smelled great. The service was excellent both times we stopped. Happy hour was a great value and the regular prices seemed about average. Stop in when in town. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 PaulUnwin (96) Pinellas Park, Florida | August 26, 2012 Been a long time since I’ve been there, but I had a great breakfast there, with beer, nice view out to sea, and I long to go back! |
