Pike Brewing has a good selection of beers and they seem to be widely distributed so there is really nothing new here. Honestly, I have had some really great offerings and some that I did not care for at all. However, if you happen to be in Seattle you are most likely going to visit Pike Place Market and therefore should make a stop by this brewpub. Just to the left of the bar is a room that features the history of beer and brewing. It makes the trip worthwhile for anyone interested in beer and/or history.

Located very close to the Pike Place Market. Found it by luck. Yes, it’s a bit touristy. I went there to eat and try their 5X stout. Food was ok. Stout was pretty good. The locals were very informative/helpful in telling me where the places are located. Beertender could be a little more friendly but, oh well.

Tourist trap with beer made for mass distribution....it is nice to chill & shoot the crap with friends from out of town with not enough time to seek real beer...otherwise, there is way better in Seattle.

This was a nice little Brewery/Bar/Restaurant. It was my first time here, but my companions and I all felt like locals. Friendly environment, educated staff. And of course the beers where very nice. You know it’s a good sign (although disappointing), when some of the beers in the Sampler are unavailable. This place is popular, and the beer is good. Easily and obviously recommended.

Had to stop in here when i saw it, even though I hadn’t planned it. It was 11AM right after opening and what better way to start the late-morning than a beer?

Beer selection was good. Music was an eclectic 80s and 90s mix. Service was good. The mussels and clam mix with the coconut sauce were good, but not enough toast points were provided. People were friendly. Great neighborhood. They had quite a few bottles from across the globe available.

I headed in on a Friday night. Mixed crowd, not esp. busy, found a place at the bar. Good bartender and a good range of beers (had a DIPA on both tap and cask). The beers themselves aren’t great, and the atmosphere is a bit artificial, but its location is good. There isn’t that much in the downtown area, so if you’re stuck there, it’s the best thing going other than a walk to Elysian.

Came by on a Saturday afternoon and the place was loud, crowded and very lively. Most of their beers are top notch and the building has lots of cool nooks and crannies to explore and interesting beer memorabilia. Definitely one of the best downtown spots to grab a pint.

My favorite brewpub in downtown Seattle. Some solid beers, some ok beers but the location and pretty cool atmosphere make it worth a visit.

Impressive beer memorabilia museum all over the many rooms of this brewery restaurant, transperced by the brewing equipment to the depths of the packaging facility. Lunch was excellent (delicious stuffed salmon) and the beers were spot-on. Great location close to Pike Place market and one of the most memorable restaurants to walk around if you are into brewing history. Charles Finkel is a very engaging man as well; he deserves all the success he has gotten.
