| Beerman6686 (24), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | | May 17, 2012 Went here for a founders pig roast a few summers ago. Nice outdoors seating with nice lighting. great founders beers everywhere but the regular bottle list didn;t look that great. pricey food menu but worth every penny. both my friend and I both agree that this was by far the best food we had ever eaten. their chef is very talented. | | Kollie (12), , | | March 25, 2012 Great little local place. Excellent food. Attractive outside seating area with lovely landscaping. Beer is good. Smart staff. | | roder60 (38), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | | July 11, 2011 Have lived 10 minutes from here my entire life and was just in for the first time the other night for dinner. Inside dining area looked like nothing special but the outdoor area was a gorgeous private garden with running water. They do live music weekly I believe and special beer dinners on occasion. Beer list was much more extensive than I expected and I counted 7 diff beers on the menu I hadn’t tried. Probably 70 or so beers sold total. Food is excellent, but the place is a fancier more expensive place so easy to ring up a big bill. Beer prices seem to be about 4-5$ per for most domestic micros. My waitress was excellent and the beer director even came out and introduced herself to tell me about their beer dinners. Overall, excellent place. | | cheapdark (128), Quiptown & Central Valley, Pennsylvania | | January 23, 2011 Not really a micro or import beer place but they do have some decent beers in a bottle if you dine here. Didn’t have food but this this place is classy once you leave the bar. They didn’t have any new beers for me to try. | swiftdb1 (2), Jeannette, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | September 28, 2010 A wonderful dining experience north of Pittsburgh with great beer selections and wonderful food. They also have occassional beer tastings. Right now, they have a nince selection of Octoberfest and Pumpkin varieties in bottles. The atmosphere is second to none - a turn of the century house with a tavern, formal dining room and patio. |
