Visited July/11. The place looks amazing, with tons of bottles decorating the walls and shelf held by empty beer barrels. bottles selection is very good, taps are fine. They also sell beer as take away. highly recommended.

One of the top places in Czech to try different micros. Also sells bottles out. Wide range of Czech beers.

Visited in May 2011. It’s impossible not to be astounded by their bottle selection. The foreign beers are very pricy but hey - as a tourist in the Czech Republic you want to focus on the local beers. And those are not expensive. They didn’t have all available what was in the menu but the waitress didn’t need to look it up and knew straightaway which ones of the couple hundreds they had and which they didn’t - which I found rather mpressive. The cellar is quite cozy, thumbs up for the rotating taps. A very nice place.

A great place in Prague. It has been "holy ground" for me since the author Evan Rail signed the book "Good Beer Guide Prague & the Czech Republic" in 2008. Pivovarsky Klub seems to be popular among both tourists and locals. Today they are not leading the multiple tap race, but the bottle selection is huge. Excellent food and beer. I had two awesome draught beers this evening: Schlenkerla Eiche Doppelbock and Matuska Cerna Raketa. (Visited 22nd February 2012)

One of my favorite pubs in Praha. Decent food, good atmosphere, very friendly and service minded staff and nonsmoking. The selection of draft brews is no where near Zly Casy, but they rotate around 6 brews (draft), more than enough for a good night :) And those are always great brews. Also, they offer what must be a gazillion of different bottled beers. Easy to find and wuite central in Praha. Clearly one of the citys top 10 pubs in my opinion.

Visited in July 2009: Sat in small upstairs room, on high tables. Good selection of Czech beers on draft. Tried a honey beer and the house lezak. Food was un-memorable. A little out of Old Town, but manageable location. A pioneer in Prague’s beer scene. Eclipsed now by several others?

It would be a crime to go to Prague and not visit Pivovarsky Klub. We were given a Czech menu but as soon as they realised we spoke English we were brought an English menu. Even though it was busy on a Friday evening we were not rushed to make a choice. Huge selection of beers - pity the menu gave no indication of the styles. The food looked great (check out the roast pork knuckle) but we were only there for the beer. It’s only about a hundred yards from the Florenc metro station so easy to find.

6 rare czech beers on tap. Large choice of bottles. Super service (in english, thank you). Now non-smoking. Food is very average. Goulash meat was chewy and seemed under-cooked, the mexican beans and sausages is bathing in a ketchup-like sauce, meh. The presentation of the dishes were original though... Overall a nice place worth hanging out while waiting for your bus, since it’s situated a stone’s throw away from Florenc station.

Nice bar placed just up the stairs from the Florenc Metro station. Light, nice and clean, smokefree. Nice and fast service, speaking a decent english. Rather slow at a monday afternoon at 14.00, a few locals in to have lunch, low noise. 6 taps, 5 of them with Chezh beer and St. Barnaus 8 on the last one, rotating all the time. Huge bottle selection with beers from all over europe, mostly Chezh, German, Belgian. Didnt eat, but food looked tasty.
