Great place overall. Can get a little busy on food and tap special nights. Always a stop when I head to San Diego. Excellent beer selection (both guest taps and their own brews) and great food.

Great Brew Pub/Pizza joint. Located in heart of downtown Carlsbad, and a quick 5-7 minute walk to Carlsbad State Beach. Selection is insane: from their ever-changing selection if great in-house brews, to their inclusion of other local standouts like Stone, Ballast Point, etc., to their beers from Russian River(on occasion) and other top quality craft beers, I haven’t found a better place in San Diego for my taste(Stone Bistro is close, but its a little upscale). Food is very good quality, as well. The bottle shop next door is amazing.

Not much to say except great beer, great pizza, and a nice patio as well. There is even a bottle shop next door. Fun place.

Absolutely jam-packed for a NFL playoff weekend. Family style with room-length picnic tables and surf boards hanging overhead. Massive bar running the side of the restaurant, pizza making and order taking station at the back. Honestly, who gives a shit about anything but the beer, and it’s world-class. Enough said!

Cool place to get a beer and chill. About 12 or more drafts beers available.. Picnic benches for tables... Decent size bar. Growlers to go... Prices were reasonable. Seemed like a local hangout. Service decent, definetely worth a stop

Like heaven! Own beers great + phantastic selection of guest brews and the pizza is outstanding. Whenever I am in California I go to Carlsbad to visit Pizza Port.

Pretty big and busy both times I’ve stopped by. Solid brews on tap including guest taps from local breweries and even Three Floyds. Pizza was good too.

I’ve been in cali and i’ve visited all the pizzaport, this one has the better selection and the beer shop is crazy.

Been here dozens of times over the past 5 years. Lots of house beers on tap (including some from other Pizza Port locations) and usually a fair amount of guest taps as well.

The food is always good, the beer is almost always good, the service is hit and miss. Usually its not an issue since you have to stand in the massive line for anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes to get served so you probably wont be making much small talk when you get to the front anyway.

Atmosphere is great. Lots of seating. Interesting mix of families, regular bar goers, and drunkards. Next door is the bottle shop which is convenient.

Prices are good, except growler fills.

Visited all the pizzaport, and this was the biggest, i liked the pizza the staff the beers the atmosphere, simply wonderful!!! I would love to have brewpubs like this in my country it will be amazing, if u like surf and beer u can’t missi it!
