Pizza pub in Metuchen. Food is what you’d expect. Beers range from average to excellent. The IPA was one of the better brewpub IPAs I’d had in awhile. Worth a visit.

Average house beers, large open restaurant with good pizza. A 10-tap cask festival was ongoing during our visit, so lucky us. Nice, prompt staff.

Not just your standard UNO Grill, there is a small brewery tucked into the side just past the main bar. We visited during the cask ale festival, where the brewer poured ten beers from his place and from a handful of local breweries. Not crowded at all, which was a very pleasant change from the throngs that seem to pack festivals these days. Beers were tasty. Worth a stop any time.

Yes it’s a chain pizza place (one of the better one’s by the way)...but this location is "not" like any of the others...they brew their own beer!. Although this may not be a secret to locals and long time customers...it’s a rare thing for a chain to allow one of their locations to break the mold. Although I’ve been aware of this place for some time...it was the "chain" mentality that kept delaying a visit. Luckily I was there yesterday for the 3-4x/yr cask ale event. Boy was it worth the trip! Great cask ales from Kane, Carton, Flying Fish, Climax, Bolero, & of course UNO. All the beers were great & several featured variations from the standard recipe of that name (ex. Bolero added pecans & maple syrup to one of their standard recipes). The best part was talking to the people who came...regular beer nerds like me...along with people from Flying Fish, Bolero, and others. Chris the brewer at UNO is a very nice guy & enjoys answering beer questions. Although I can’t guarantee your experience will be as good as mine every time...this place is definitely worth a visit.

on tap selection was good. upon tasting all of them i got a similar almost buttery taste from all them. very weird. after talking to a friend who brews his own beer he informed me that this could be due to fermenting at higher temperatures than recommended or poorly maintained equipment... did not enjoy any one of the beers thoroughly. the personal pan deep dish pizza was good but not worth 10 dollars for something the size of my hand.

looks like any other pizzeria uno until you get inside and see all the brewing equipment through some glass on the side of the restaurant. Big bar with lots of seats and lots of tables to sit. I’ve only been here at lunch so i’ve had pretty flawless service. One really big problem is the food at this place. I would go more often if the food selection wasn’t so heavy. To what matters. The IPA is the best of the group. The other selections are good for the most part. the only bad beer was the Hefe. I would go back to enjoy a couple local beers.

not just an Uno’s with a pub . food well its unos food but the beer is great they now have a rotating stock what ever the brewer likes to do. his scotch ale is great. i just attended a deer dinner andthe food was not unos and it was a homerun. there is also a happy hour food menu eat and drink for under $10 awsome.

Basically like any other Pizzeria Uno, except for the fact that they also brew their own beer. I had the IPA while there and took the 32 Inning ale to go. Decent selection. I wish all Pizzeria Unos brewed.

It is a typical Pizzeria Uno but the only one with its own brewpub. The beers are below average for a brewpub but certainly better then the commercial stuff.
