resevil787 (3), , Arizona does not count - explanation | | December 23, 2008 Outstanding Selection. Beers are priced individually, which could be a plus but a negative for me. Their selection is the best in Tucson and is definitely what keeps me coming back. | | fordest (62), Santee/San Diego, California | | September 17, 2008 Really nice place. Much better selection than I had thought to find in Tucson. The beer guy was very knowledgable, and we talked about beer for too long... the other guy wanted to close. | | nbutler11 (61), Phoenix, Arizona | | September 2, 2008 This place ranks right up there with the best stores in Arizona, especially when it comes to imports. The only downside really is that it’s in Tucson and they don’t carry anything that rare. Regardless, this place is well worth patroning. | | CharlesDarwin (121), State College, Pennsylvania | | May 23, 2008 This place wasn’t bad. They had a decent mix of regionals, including some interesting Cali beers and some imports. Prices were fair. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Singles are awesome. | | DoubleBubble (12), Mescal Lakes (wherever that is), Arizona | | January 12, 2008 Plaza has a great selection of beer, and for those interested wine. Robert is great and very helpful. They are always willing to try and get anything we ask for. I like buying in singles. | | hellbilly (52), scottsdale über alles, Arizona | | December 17, 2007 plaza’s got some high end stuff i can’t get in phoenix. smaller selection than topp’s or sundevil but certainly more organized and cleaner. friendly staff. i feel like i’m going to break something while i’m perusing the isles | highibus (7), Mill Creek, Washington does not count - explanation | | December 5, 2007 My go to place for beer in Tucson. Owner is great and very helpful (even though he is more of a wine guy). Everything available in AZ pretty much and all in singles. Good belgian, german and of course west coast micro selection. I think they only have a bout 2 small shelves of BMC. Best in AZ!! | | infinitetease (11), Tucson, Arizona | | November 21, 2007 Great store for beer, wine and liquor. Theit beer selection is huge, and the staff friendly and knowledgable.
The staff is very willing to order new and unusual beers. They have special-ordered Panil Barriquee, several Berliner Weisses, and other beers for me.
Also, one of the few places in Tucson that carry the excellent Anchor Distilling Junipero Gin. | | GlenVargas (10), El Paso, Texas | | September 11, 2007 Plaza Liquors has an absolutely jaw-dropping selection of beers. It’s also got very reasonable prices and some sweet discounts for cases and such. The service was incredibly friendly, and all the beers are conveniently labeled with post-its. The only problem with Plaza is that I can’t spend more than ten minutes browsing lest I drop $100 I really shouldn’t be spending. | Icommonsewer (6), TUCSON, Arizona does not count - explanation | | August 24, 2007 fantastic selection for little old Tucson and you can buy one bottle instead of having to buy a whole 6-pack, but the prices are steep! | View Page : 1 2 3
