Best selection of beer in Canberra. Recently expanded and now with everything from 3L magnums of Chimay to seasonal Mikeller Christmas beers. Bring your $ though..

Great place; amazing selection, and knowledgeable staff. They provide tastings (at least on Saturdays), and it’s possible to sit in the beer garden to drink.

Quite a decent selection in a reasonably sized shop. Plenty of parking. Beers were arranged fairly haphazardly so took a while to find what we wanted, but overall good shop.

Their prices can be variable in comparison to other sources, but they sell a lot of imported and local craft beers you can’t find elsewhere in Canberra.

Located in the Fyshwick markets, Plonk stocks a great range of local and international beers. Locals must be happy to what’s available here, the Aussie micros are extensive and also has a decent range of US and Belgian ales and plenty more. Also, there’s outdoor seating so you’re right to crack a few beers and relax amongst the bustle of the markets around you. Well worth a look and it’s on the way to the airport so makes it handy to stock up if you’re moving on from Canberra.
