Located quite a hike from the 250 area of Glen Allen (at least what I think of as Glen Allen) in a strip mall. The employees hardly even glanced up when I entered and never spoke a word to me, which is fine as I really didn’t want to spend much time there. They specialize in wine and cigars, and while those sections were well stocked, the beer made the store look like it was going out of business. They had a few good things, but the beer coolers had a ton of empty space. Clearly the beer is just an afterthought here.

This is a cigar and wine shop that happens to have a few coolers of craft beer. When I went, their beer stock was quite small, but I did find a few Southern Tier and Duck Rabbit brews that I had been searching for throughout the Greater Richmond area. Staff was pleasant and fairly knowledgeable about the beer but it was very evident that this was first and foremost a cigar/wine purveyor. Beer was fairly highly priced.

Rating numbers are from a beer perspective. I do live in the area. A bit on the pricey side, indeed, but the management is fairly careful in theof stock. I have been introduced to some excellent beers (and some decent wines) here. Something (ususally wine) is generally open for tasting. Better overall values on wine and cigars than beer.

Nothing really specially about this place. But it does have a decent selection of microbrews and imports for a small wine shop. Small selection of singles and about 40 various 6-packs. A bit on the pricey side, but if you live in the area, it might be a worthwhile stop. Staff doesn’t really know much about beer, other than ’this tastes good’.
