Pub on the Park

On the edge of a park. As the name suggests. Quite a small beer selection. Really big outside seating area. I can imagine how busy this will be in a summer evening.

Nice location, OK beer range. Four casks including things like Dark Star and Five Points. They also have keg Lagunitas. Nice ambiance, some outdoor seating. Average prices and adequate service. Not a destination but a nice spot to enjoy a beer next to London Fields.

The pub of choice for London Fields cricket club who play on the park this pub’s name refers to, in fact the kit is kept here. The freestanding building is light and airy with a slightly rustic wooden tables and chairs set-up. There is a good choice of ales here which can be supped in the extensive outdoor areas to its side and rear if the weather allows.

This is a lovely lovely pub.Virtually always busy, and justifiably so due to the location and the range of beers. There were 5 real ales on tap & a couple of craft lagers. Worth a pint just for the location and good feel of the place.
