| phaleslu (241), Saint Louis, Missouri | | May 12, 2012 [ Updated May 15, 2012 ] Visited here while staying at the Venetian for a bachelor party. Convenient location! Hip, modern, low-lit ambience. Sat at the marble bar. Bartenders were cool, friendly, and seemed to know their stuff, particularly when suggesting beers for people who didn’t know much. 24 taps and a solid list. Close to 200 bottles with a nice range. Prices were high but it’s the Strip so they were in line with expectations. Selection beat the Burger Bar by a long shot. You’re not going to do much better on the Strip than this. Good spot, an lucky to have it in the hotel we stayed in. | | MacMoney (27), Espoo, Finland | | April 22, 2012 Went on two days, very crowded and loud on both days. Wednesday evening really hard to even get a seat at the bar (which is quite small) let alone a table. The staff knew their beer and were very friendly, especially behind the bar. The server I had seemed rather snobbish though. The place seems to want to be quite upscale and snobbish, yet the people attending are the regular touristy types. Sort of like the Strip itself nowadays really. Good selection with a lot to choose from. Hefty prices though. Same with the food. Though the entrees are rather ordinary in comparison to the "mediums" which aren’t really big enough in comparison to their prices. The food was really good though. Caramelized oysters with roasted asparagus and a raspberry coconut tart. | | BOLTZ7555 (56), Phoenix, Arizona | | March 23, 2012 Very knowledgeable behind the bar...think they had a cicerone. Guy knew his shit. Let’s just say that I’m not going to be upset walking around Vegas with a bottle from Anchorage...oh, and it had Brett! Will definitely be back. Dimly lit room, long bar, not a ton of seating and didn’t have food but will definitely return! | | mkel07 (17), Brisbane, Australia | | February 17, 2012 Great selection of beers. You can stand outside and view the wall of beer in the cold room. Great service and t prices are not too bad by Vegas standards. | | badhack (14), San Jose, California | | January 18, 2012 It’s in the casino at the Venetian-Palazzo, but kind of half way between the two. It’s pretty small, but they’ve got a huge beer fridge you can peer inside and quite a few interesting American and Import beers available from tripels to rauschbeers and a real ale on tap. Also, it’s Vegas so everything is overpriced. |
