70 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 13/20 Senka (3) Tallinn, Estonia | February 11, 2013| Updated February 14, 2013 Hipster atmosphere - minus for me, but + as marketing dictates it. Barmaid was good - served beers as they should be served. Smell of paint - sorry, but you cold have spent extra 10€ on öko paint. But I do not care much about anything else, as long as I get my Thornbridge Saint Petersburg Stout, BD Punk IPA and Mikkeller Black Hole on tap. Worth a visit if you want some decent beer.
| 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 FatPhil (251) Tallinn, Estonia | February 2, 2013| Updated February 14, 2013 Coming from the old town, head out of Nunne, cross the main road and past the railway tracks, and then go immediately to the left down the path, "resijate", between the railway and the open-air market. As soon as you emerge at a real road, you’re at telliskivi 60, it’s to your left. Walk all the way to the end of the building and then head into the courtyard - you should be able to see the neon ’Pudel’ sign. A bit of a fishbowl, and a bit sterile, and also with no comfortable chairs it’s more of a bistro feel than a pub (I don’t know what’s upstairs, though). That does have some charm, but I’m more of a sit down sofa kind of guy. Seems popular with hipsters, which again isn’t my scene, but at least they were quiet. Beer selection isn’t huge, but is very high quality. Baltic Frontier on tap is a big win, but alas I don’t think will be on very long, a real shame. However, I’m more than happy to fall back on things like Ola Dubh 18 for 8e. Only had a snack plate on the food menu when I was there, which looked interesting, but I didn’t try it - I will next time. This place has potential. I’ll come here quite often I think, even though it is the wrong side of the tracks ;-) | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 Sandorf (3) , | January 29, 2013| Updated February 14, 2013 Nice place. Recommend strongly! |
