trufflepig (1), , New Jersey does not count - explanation | | June 7, 2008 An excellent small store carrying wines and craft beers. Smallish type selection, but what they have is very diverse. Toegs, Stone, Sweaty Girl, and a decent amount of import and meads/barley wines. This is now my number one craft brew shop. Staff is friendly and always willing to help or just chat a bit. RW+B has quality product. A must see and check out for the beer and wine lover. | imadeadguy (4), From NJ, now in Clovis, California does not count - explanation | | February 13, 2008 [ Updated August 16, 2008 ] Small mom and pop type store. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable! DFH, Stone, Capt. Law, Victory ect... Great prices and they always seem to have items right when they are released. If your in the area stop in and check out what they have! | TheRealBastard (3), The-No, California does not count - explanation | | January 9, 2008 [ Updated August 16, 2008 ] There is an intense selection of micros in the back of the store. They have mostly wine, but still try to carry micros like: Unibroue, Stone, Capt. Lawrence, and Victory. The store is just too small to compensate for both worlds of wine and beer. I really do like their sign out front they had quoting, We carry beer and none of them say miller, bud, or coors on them! I saw this sign and had to drop by. Cool place if your in the area stop by! | | john_adam2002 (11), Hainesport, New Jersey | | September 27, 2007 This place is all about quality. They don’t carry any macros. They have a great selection of belgians and foreign brews. Good selection of Rogue, Southampton, Captain Lawrence, Weyerbacher, and Dogfish Head to name a few. Owner is very knowledgable about beer. Great place to check out. | | JB175 (42), Holland, Pennsylvania | | February 17, 2007 I was passing through the area, so I figured this place was worth checking out. Small store, which worried me at first. After a few minutes I realized this place was all about quality over quantity. Talked with the owner a bit and found him to be a beer guy. As for selection, a small but good selection of brews from Great Divide (Oaked Yeti, Fresh Hop), Avery, Stone (Old Guardian!!!), DFH, and others. Quite a few brews that go fast in other places seem to stick around here. Most stores have tons of brews that I don’t want and only a few I do - I could have easily purchased the majority of the beer selection here. Price was also good. Do yourself a favor and stop in if you get the chance. | | Cornboy (12), Eastampton, New Jersey | | July 27, 2006 [ Updated November 2, 2007 ] Rerate
Selection of more rare brews is expanded, never a macro in sight and great place to find some gems.
They dont carry a ton of brands that you would see in a liquor superstore, but the ones they do have are excellent. The staff know each of the products very well and I appreciate that. Just wish it was 3x as much to choose from. I havent purchased a bad bottle from the place (including wine). | ejcat (4), does not count - explanation | | July 1, 2006 this place has so much to offer and the staff is incredible. | GuilTTy (7), Cherry Hill, New Jersey does not count - explanation | | February 7, 2005 [ Updated July 29, 2005 ] This place is a little hard to rate because it is very small and the size of the selection is small for that reason. That said, for a small selection, it has a very good number of quality and hard to find craft brews. For the most part, they make good use of the limited space without too many poor beers (though they had two Sleeman varieties in 6 packs and they should know better than to sell that next to Dogfish Head WWS & 120 Min IPA - both of which they had). Samples from my visit included DH Pangaea, Tupper’s Hop Pocket & the full line of Climax growlers. Only knock is that the selection is very small - it would be nice if they would devote less floor space to wine. | zathrus13 (3), Mount Laurel, New Jersey does not count - explanation | | September 11, 2004 [ Updated May 18, 2007 ] A small store that has mostly wine, but they do have several beers that aren’t available otherwise in the area. I picked up a Cantillon, that I haven’t seen in NJ before. They also have 4 or 5 different growlers from Climax brewing, which you don’t see a lot. |
