64 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20
Tried out this place tonight, the ambiance is nice, plenty of TVs to watch the game and not too crowded. The service was amazing, our waitress was very knowledgeable and quick. The food is what you would expect from a chain, okay and standard offerings. The beer selection here is not too good, the house beers are sub-par. If you going out to have a nice drink, donít go here; but for some decent food its not bad.

Looks like the other Rock Bottoms Iíve been in. Lots of seating in the restaurant and bar area. Good food (Steak) and average beer. Friendly service.

Big space, lot of wood and brass. A little dimly lit, but I like to try and read while eating. The beer sampler was nicely priced $6 for 7 4 oz samplers. You get their 5 íhouse beersí and then you can select two other from what ever was on tap. The service was a little rushed. My Cobb salad arrived about 3 minutes after my beer, even though I asked them to wait a bit with my order. The beers were pretty much BJCP standard Brewpub beers. Nothing bad, but nothing that caught your attention. Although their ďRockoberfestĒ sucked. They do lose some point for whatever the mystery chicken was on my Cobb salad, it was thinly sliced and I am pretty sure it was packaged lunch meat or some kind of sliced processed meat. The rest of the salad was good, but the chicken sort of put me off the rest of it.

your typical RB experience - huge chair restaurant interior and two long bars. 4-5 typical beers with a couple of seasonals but nothing very interesting (an IPA and honey blonde, woohoo!). beer quality was pretty poor.

Not bad ambiance for a chain [a little dimly lit in my opinion]. The service is decent at least at the bar where I prefer to sit. The selection is definatly mediocre at best, but some of the specials and casks are tasty. the food is good but a little too "california" cuisine for me. Overall itís no place to rush to but itís not too bad.

28 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 2/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 5/20
Itís not far from where I live, yet I only just recently went there to review the beer (or at least the seasonals/specials, since the standards are pretty much the same as at the Denver location). And on this particular occasion, I had the displeasure of getting a smarmy bartender who rolled his eyes when I asked for samplers of the beers instead of a full pint of anything. For the rest of my time at the bar, he wouldnít even look at me. When I finally asked how much I owed, he again would not make eye contact and just shrugged and said "donít worry about it" with a tone of contempt. A short-ish/young-ish looking man with short black hair and a somewhat soft/feminine voice and posture. Why I left him two bucks is beyond me...he deserved a reprimand from his manager for being rude (and yet he was friendly and chatty with another fellow at the bar, though I think he worked there). I think I just feel bad about getting beer for free, so if they donít charge I leave a buck or two out of habit. But man, what an unprofessional fellow...people in the service industry donít realize sometimes that their attitude effectively represents the establishment as a whole. And as a result, I have a sour taste about Rock Bottom Westminster.
