tzachary (6), Knoxville, does not count - explanation | | April 29, 2012 Located down the street from the awesome Melt, Rozi’s is set in a cool older building with nice wooden floors, a wall of coolers, a handfull of taps, and a beer selection that accounts for probably 2/5 of the entire floor space. The staff, in addition to being the friendliest people I met while in Northern Ohio, were extremely knowledgeable and were also willing to recommend based on tastes. | | jcos (25), Maryland | | April 10, 2012 In three trips to Cleveland I’ve been here twice - the guys provide good service answering my questions, they have some beers on draft(I did not take advantage), the selection is very good and prices are good too. Highly recommended for Cleveland area beer purchases. | | Sammer (17), Plano, Texas | | April 6, 2012 Flew in from Dallas and headed straight to Rozi’s. Short car ride from the airport. Great selection and helpful staff. Picked-up a bunch of beers to ship home. If you visit, take a walk up the same street to Melt, which is a sandwich shop with a HUGE selection of beers to have with your lunch. Cheers! | | VRBJG (10), Fort Wayne, Indiana | | January 20, 2012 My favorite liquor store. Was visiting a friend in Cleveland, and he suggested we go to Rozi’s. Now (because I live 4 hours away) I dream of Rozi’s. I look at the their f’book page daily...for torture, I guess. | | Steeeve (34), Ambler, Pennsylvania | | December 6, 2011 Nice spot with a pretty good selection. I’m spoiled with my Philly bottle shops, but they had a good amount of locals I cant get at home, and a pretty nice selection of Euro beers. You can break any six pack you see. The staff is very nice and more than happy to help. Not sure how it compares to other places in Cleveland but it was great for what I needed, since I happened to be in Lakewood anyway. | | DiarmaidBHK (307), Pennsylvania | | August 3, 2011 [ Updated August 6, 2011 ] They may call themselves a wine and beer house but half of the product is craft beer. They have over 300 bottles which focuses on local craft, West coast, and Belgians. They also have some homebrew supplies for sale and branded glassware. In addition they have 8 taps from which they fill growlers and sell samples. They seem like really nice people as well. | | Dfonorow (37), Hoboken, New Jersey | | May 6, 2011 This place is great. Stopped by on my way to DLD to find some AleSmth and was able to pick up all of their "bigger" beers: speedway stout, wee heavy, old numbskull, etc. They have a fantastic selection of micro brews and a huge amount of wine and liquor. They carry a ton of harder to find local stuff as well. Service was great, I was asked if I needed help within 30 seconds of being in the store and was directed towards the local craft beer. A little bit expensive, but besides that, no complaints. | | BeerBelcher (134), Columbus, Ohio | | April 26, 2011 My son and I visited the Saturday before Easter, with indefinite plans at the in-laws. Turns out we had more time than anticipated, so we got to kill some time at Rozi’s. And I am glad we did - a fun shop well worth a lengthy visit.
This is a cool-looking place with really nice ambiance. Wood floors, and a cool corner location in Lakewood.
They serve beer here! I had a great TBK White Rajah and a Diabolical IPA as I shopped. Both were fresh and delicious.
While the space in this shop is distorted to wine, there is a ton of stuff here for craftbeer fans. Great selection.
There is a limited supply of homebrew stuff here. I bought a few things, but I’ve heard that turn here can be a little slow, and I wouldn’t consider it a 1-stop-shop.
I took more of Cory and Brian’s time than I had a right to, although to be fair I was trying to generate some ideas to help Cory get more homebrewer traffic.
It’s retail pricing here; nothing’s really on discount, but I wouldn’t say it is out of line with other retail stores in Ohio.
All-in-all, I really enjoyed visiting and would recommend to others! | | raj201 (11), Ohio | | February 9, 2011 Love this place. Great Selection and very knowledgeable staff. Wine, Craft Beer, and brew and wine supplies. | | zach8270 (54), Henrietta, New York | | November 21, 2010 Stopped here on the way back from out brewery tour. Nice little place with a pretty good bottle selection. Staff was attentive, though we knew what we were looking for. Good selection of some quality midwest brews and some of the smaller Ohio breweries. Got the Bruery Three French Hens that we were after, as well as a Laughing Dog Dogfather. Very nicely priced as well. Worth a stop if you’re nearby. |
