If you want something to eat, stop at themain restaurant or sit outside. If you’re interested in beer, pass through the courtyard under the arch, and go to the cellar. No food here, but they have a great selection of their own beers, of course, plus a handful from around Norway and Denmark. Service is outstanding, and the locals are friendly. Worth going out of your way to try.

Love the feeling of beer camaraderie while drinking in this place. Quite noisy but friendly and cozy. I will be returning here many a time.

Very atmospheric bar (go down the stairs) - must be a converted cellar or something. Great old fireplace which was lit and provided further ambience. Was able to try the 5 Schous brews via the tasting size glasses which kept the ruinous Norwegian expense down. Good beers all. A thoroughly diverting place which I really liked. About 15 mins walk from the centre of town - best combined with a trip to Gronerlokka.

We came a bit late to this place on a friday. The place was packed! The noise level was so high the ears where almost bleeding. Their brews was okey, bit the sometimes have something special on tap as well. This time they had Southern Tier Choc. Stout on tap! But there was no free tables so we had to stand and enjoy our beers on the middle of the floor...

Love the place, be sure to buy a small sample of their own brew before buying a large one, as the quality varies. Quite good selection of bottled beers.

A very nive cellar, however strange acoustics so it can get very loud in here. They produce a lot of different taps, and it is quite well now. However, on several occasions the beers had a distinct taste of yeast.. They do sell small sampels, so I tend to try this on homebrew before I go for larger glasses- Everchanging menu of bottled beers, allways something interesting

Nice cellar with interior of wood and brickwork. Nice fireplace in the back. Friendly staff. Very good selection of their own brewed beers and selected US & European beers on tap and in bottle. Prices are very high but that’s because it’s Oslo. Value is quite good.

Best place to drink Beer in Oslo if you want a feeling of being abroad like Germany or Czech :) Fantastic ambience and feels undergroundish.. Fantastic selection of special and oneofs:) Love it!!!

Very nice selection on tap. They have about 4 own brews and alot of other exiting brews. When i was there, there came some new beers on the board when i turned my head the other way. Very cool. Also some nice bottles. Not the best on selection in Oslo, but probably the best in Oslo when we speak tap only. Maybe even best in norway since there is no industrial beers available here
