Found my new watering hole... The beers these guys brew are amazing. Only thing could make this place better is if they had food. But hey, their a production brewery and not a bar. Cheers to Jeff and Gang at Selkirk - Thanks for bringing yet another great brewery to the pacific northwest.

Nice little Belgian-style brewery set in an industrial park outside of Post Falls, ID. You’d never be able to tell it from the outstide, but the inside decor of this place is really cool. The tasting room has a medieval vibe with a big giant Belgian Abbey-like cross hanging above the bar and the dim lighting. The beers here range from really good (St. Augustine, Infidel) to fairly mediocre (The White). The guest taps they have are always crazy amazing, with Verhaeghe Duchesse De Bourgogne, New Belgium La Folie, Odell The Meddler, Laughing Dog Bourbon Barrel-Aged Dogfather, and Deschutes The Abyss all recent offerings. The service is top-notch, with the friendly head brewer interacting with his customers almost throughout the whole hour or two I spent there. Great place! I’m really hoping they try their hand at a sour ale. Also looking forward to the time when they tweak a few problems they seem to have with a couple of their brews. These guys are talented.

Finally a local place to get decent tap beer. Beer and dishes of small dry pretzels. Pints $4.50. The place is new and has a noticeable smell of wood furniture polish (there’s lots of wood in the decor). 4 SA taps with guest taps including a rotating Belgium Belgian offering. Laughing Dog single hop IPA and their Bourbon Barrel aged Dogfather stout are here now.
