September 30, 2009 Pretty haphazard, and pricey, super close to my place, but a bit too lame. |

October 28, 2008 This place has a so-so selection of stuff. Most of it tends to be from larger regional brewers than from micros, but there is a good enough selection in here. Nothing very rare or tough to get, but if you need a quick sixer and are in the neighborhood, I guess it will do. |

September 3, 2008 This liquor store wins on location: great storefront on University. The inside is visually pleasing and easy to navigate. The beer selection? Intermediate. This is not your neighborhood liquor store, nor is it a superstore or specialty store for rare beers...it sits somewhere solidly in the middle. Just about everything in here, you can find at a number of other places. Prices were average too. Big complaint: lacking when it comes to non-alcoholic beers. |

August 7, 2008 NO. Im sorry, but these people are as clueless as any arab run liquor store in San Diego. |

April 1, 2008 Decent selection of brews. Local stuff as well as imports and stuff. I only saw one beer that I hadn’t rated. |

February 13, 2008 This is a pretty good beer store, nice selection of locals and imports, not the biggest selection but somebody is picking some nice beers. It’s clean and well organized, I don’t ask much in the way of service but the staff is always polite and friendly. It’s open late, which is great for me since I often leave work at one AM wishing I could get one nice bottle - which Servall delivers. Decent amount of Belgians, some German and English (mostly the more common ones), good amount of locals and reasonable choice of other domestic craft brews. I’m glad it’s on my way home. |

December 24, 2007 Nice store with a decent amount of square footage. I saw a pretty good selection with a lot of mainstream Belgians. It was cool seeing those 1.5L bottles of Chimay Blue. Some beer was a bit pricy while others were right in line with the cheapest in town. The singles selection was limited with the lion share of brews being six and four packs. Not really worth a special trip. |

November 13, 2007 A nicer liquor store, but still a liquor store. The owner knows his beers, but there just aren’t many you can’t find elsewhere with the exception of a few Rogues and Belgians. Decent prices. |

July 24, 2007 AleSmith. Avery. The odd Belgian. Probably about 200 different beers of note. I found about 30 I had not had. It’s worth a trip! |
