Another English style pub with semi-interested staff. At least they’re friendly once you get the attention. The selection is far from interesting, but at least they got some good ones. Nice to sit outside in the nice summer weather though, and we visited two or three times during our Århus stay.

Very quit and almost empty at my late night visit. English old pub interior and feel, very friendly staff. Good beer selection from Fullers at my visit, also some Danish macros on tap, I enjoyed a fresh Punk IPA.

Cozy english pub. Smokefree infront, but with a smoking area in the back. About 15 taps, danish macroes Carlsberg and Tuborg, about 4 Fullers and a few other. Quite a few empty taps at my visit. My glass of Fullers IPA had a unclean buttery note to it. Freindly service, and standard prices. Not really worth seeking out.

Located on th edge of the old town, the place is a cozy English-style pub, with a long bar and two halls (one of which caters for smokers). The selection is not bad for an English-style pub in Denmark (outside CPH), and the staff are very firendly and willing to give samples free of charge before you order a regular size beer. I haven’t tried the food. Not exactly cheap, just regular prices for the rather standard English selection outside the UK. plus some mass markedt Danish and Belgian brews. Might be back again one day.

This is a fairly big and cozy English-style pub. There are plenty of screens for sports fans, which is probably the best reason to come here because the selection is a bit lacking. They don’t have bottled beers and the taps rarely rotate. They had four different Fullers on at my visit and to me that’s drinkable enough for a sports game.

Definitely a good little English pub in the heart of Aarhus, in Frederiksgade - a pedestrian street, where the selection of bars are numerous. Sherlock Holmes opened in 1992 and now with it’s second owner still a good spot for the english or anglofile in the city. Here you can enjoy your afternoon tea, or get loaded with some good tasting pints through the night. The pub has an excellent range of cask conditioned ale from the English brewer Fuller’s in London. Draught Beer is bottled directly from the cask without carbonation as a propellant. A good pour of Guinness and generally good knowledge of beer.

A perfectly fine and cosy pub in the heart of Århus but just not a place you go to because of its beer selection, which really is nothing to write home about.

Very cosey pub. 17 taps incl 5 Fullers. Wychwood and Youngs present as well. One Weston cider and Broadoak perry on tab. No cask though. One Guest tab, that changes 4 times a year! No bottles.

Traditional english pub interior, disco music, friendly staff, but mostly macros with a few specials.
