There’s Sladovna on street and Sladovna in the inner court. Sladovna on street: trendy place with only three beers on tap (Pilsner Urquell, Kozel 11 and Master 18), nice interior design but irritating and loud house and techno music; totally unnecessary stop. Inner court Sladovna: moderate big patio, nice brick place with long bar and about ten beers on tap. Lots of old(er) tourists inside on Saturday evening around 10 p.m. All in all recommended.

Visited in June 2010. About a block or so from the main square in Old Town. Nice enough place, appears to be rather new. Modern touches on a rather medieval theme for the place. Service was fine, unremarkable. With the name House of Beer you would definitely expect a much better selection, but I really didn’t have any time for exploring so it worked out with it being right in the middle of the sightseeing areas with my wife. Not recommended if you have a fair amount of time to check things out in the city a bit.

Nice place in the old town, but the selection is disappointing. From the name of the place I have to admit I had a bit higher expectations. Anyway it’s a nice place for a pit stop while sightseeing in the old town.

large modern interior. six or seven taps on my visit, none of them interesting. guinness, zlaty, budvar, paulaner, etc. seemed to have potential as it’s certainly beer-focused, but their tap and bottle choices show they don’t know what they’re doing and any serious beer traveler would probably find the selection disappointing.

Big and modern restaurant/bar in the center, composed of 3 rooms each having a different selection of beers. The Main room, accessible by the inner court, is the only place serving all the beers, including La Chouffe and Mc Chouffe. Overall, it is a pleasant, beautifully decorated resto-bar where to enjoy not so rare, but good beers. I don’t recommend the second floor nor the front room since they hold only 3 beers each.

Nice place with good beer and meal. service is quick and friendly, beer selection is good.
