Visited with Linh on our last trip out to SD. Nice big warehouse with a tasting room, friendly service, tons of seating area and optionality for smaller serving sizes and tasters. Solid beer and while there’s no food inside, there was a food truck outside when we were visiting.
My first stop on beercation and it couldn’t have been a better welcome to my left coast excursion. Outstanding beer, mellow atmosphere and fabulous, friendly service that was knowledgeable and also helpful in finding more destinations. Cheers!
Visited on a Wednesday night. It seemed to be in a small commercial/industrial strip, but once inside you realize how big the place is. Very small bar with no seating, but lots of tables throughout an expansive area. They’ve definitely gone with a hipster vibe here, but the people there seemed to come from all walks of life. The place was packed, but service was surprisingly quick at the bar. They had a thing where you can only order a couple tasters at a time, which was kind of annoying since I had to keep going to the bar for more, but whatever. You get a nice view of the brewery from the tasting area which is always a plus for me. All the beers were good with a few standing out as excellent. I was surprised how reasonable priced it was considering the upscale feel to the place. Overall, this is a very nice place with a fun vibe and great beers. What more could you ask for?
On a recent San Diego beer trip, we had visited several bars around town, and the brewery a lot of bartenders seemed to geek out about was Societe. We went here on a Sunday afternoon and had a nice relaxing couple of delicious beers. They had some really good well balanced IPAs, and their Imperial Stout was decidedly above average. There is a lot of space to spread out and enjoy a good time with a group of people. They usually have a food truck, and we paired our beers with some egg rolls and dumplings.
Besides the already delicious beer offerings, Societe has a barrel aging program that is already in the works. We all just have to be patient for the proper amount of time to pass. They are taking their time to do things right. Knowing the experience these brewers have from working for other well known breweries, we are all in for a treat. I can’t wait.
I heard good things about this place and some things were pretty good. The place is nice with a large tasting area and bar with tons of seating. A wide selection of pretty decent taps that ranged from below average to good. The service was comically horrible. Ive never been to a brewery with unfriendly bartenders but this place had 2. An older guy who was very unfriendly and didnt even want to talk about the beer he was serving. There was a younger guy who was a complete waste and looked like his dog just died. The third bartender was friendly and saved the place from being a complete service wasteland. I had no food from the food truck but it smelled good. The beers werent good enough to make me want to come back with so many awesome options in san diego.
This young brewery is putting out some fine beers and offers ample seating in a large warehouse. The staff serve patrons quickly and there is typically a food truck/tent serving gourmet meals/snacks. The open air environment is conducive to relaxing while enjoying their fine beverages.
Quick stop during a tour of SD with t0rin0. Really cool place. Huge ceilings, lots of places to sit. Outside I think there was also a patio. Food truck set up early afternoon on a beautiful Saturday. The place shares a parking lot with a big apartment complex - damn, that would be a nice place to live! Beers were amped up versions of classic styles. Tasters available and seemed like 15 or so beers on tap. Would certainly stop in again.
17 Jan 2015. big seating area, decent size bar, brewery behind and to the side of both. Staff is very friendly and helpful. staff will only serve two, three ounce tasters at a time (presumably to keep it fresh and cold). tasters are only $1. about 18 beers on tap. food truck outside. really cool design and decorations.

Salon de dégustation dans une moitié d’entrepôt, plafond haut, tables communes forcant les rapprochements sinon l’ambiance serait glaciale. Les échantillons sont 1$ et la qualité est là, spécialement avec le travail des houblons.
