Gas stop quickie mart feel. Lots of good brews though. Nice selection of some rarer items. Pricing is pretty standard, nothing unreasonable. The guy there (Joey?) was very nice, and I could tell he knew a lot and loved beer, which was great. South Bay Drugs has a huge selection of beer and Joey is very knowledgeable and helpful. I still regret early in my craft beer passion turning down a Isabelle that he just got in. Oh well. I was been lucky to stop by to see Joey when I went to San Diego for vacation last summer. I’ve ordered from him a ton through mail order but it was finally nice to meet the man. Hell of a nice guy. Great service, really good selection of West Coast stuff I would never see without him. |
