This bar is ok. Fun for kereoki and beers are good with some microbrews

I am rating this just because its changed so much since the last rating. This bar is no way a beer drinkers bar, more of a dance club. I am not going to go into explaining my ratings, just know maybe a good place to pick up a drunk girl in her thirties but not a place to go to enjoy a drink and some food.

This is just a simple working mans pub just 500 yards from my house. It has a rather good friendly atmosphere..even on Saturday nights..live bands on the weekend, trivia and karaoke during the week. Of course the quality is not the best..average..its a BMC/ liquor pub in many ways. Service even on saturday when it was packed was above average..nice smiles. For a regular neighbourhood pub the selection is Ok..has Black Butte, Mirror Pond, MacTarnahans Amber, Full sail Amber and Obsidian Stout on tap..plus a few dozen import and other micro bottles. Food is standard pub fare..but at reasonable prices. All in all not a real beer geek pub at all..but if your in Salem ona dreary winter Saturday night..it should cheer you up!
