| BMan1113VR (279), Los Angeles, California | | November 6, 2011 Fun little brewery North of Houston. Open on Saturdays. Busy, jovial crowd who seemed to be more into the somewhat free beer than into the brewery. Beers as always are good, they make solid products. Only the three year round beers were on tap when I visited. Still fun to drink. Nice and large space. Worth visiting, but I wished some of their seasonals/one off’s were on tap (probably just an anomaly). I would visit again next time I’m in Houston with a rental car and a free Saturday. | hashbrown (4), Houston, does not count - explanation | | November 1, 2011 They have buried hatchet on tap. What more could anyone want! ?! | | Signalwriter (18), Houston, Texas | | October 22, 2010 Hey, it’s a craft brewery. In the country. Besides, ambience is for sissies. What you get at a Saturday tasting here is real good beers (regulars and seasonals); access to brewers and their enthusiasm; and a pleasant afternoon with other people who enjoy craft brews. I rate it high for selection and value despite the kind of venue it is - a working facility. Fine visiting... | | stephenj007 (10), Houston, Texas | | September 25, 2010 An interesting craft brewery.....very simple, but producing some very good brews. My wife and I headed up here today to check it out and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. Not much of a "tour", just a guy talking about the brewing process and the history of the company. You are more than welcome to wander around the brewing areas and equipment, and the employees are more than willing to answer all your questions. The atmosphere was more of an extended Saturday afternoon Happy-Hour, with a great group of people and friends, and some good BBQ too.The samples are plentiful, be sure to buy a pint glass and get a good size sample of all the brews. The current ProAm Porter is very tasty, and my wife enjoyed a few Bombshell Bolndes. Something different and fun. | | SudsMcDuff (112), .....Manchester United.........., Texas | | August 23, 2010 Went to their second anniversary party .. . the guys running this brewery are very cool and love chatting about beer .. . very tasty beers and their tours are free, free beer?!? good times .. . being where it is, some of the people who show up are ’alittle bit country’ but everyone shares a love for good beer so many good stories come up and that’s why this place is fun to hangout at on weekend.. and there is always this bbq company that sets up right outside that sells various tasty items at decent prices, their bbq sauce made with the pale ale is outstanding! .. hey ma! did you just pour out your beer in the grass? earthworms don’t drink! | | blutt59 (121), Dallas, Texas | | July 22, 2010 Industrial park location off I-45, stopped by to fill a growler, nice setup with expanding lineup of beers, very nice and accommodating people | graham515 (8), Houston, Texas does not count - explanation | | June 18, 2009 How can you beat a free tour and tasting. Although you are urged to buy merchandise (and you should buy at least a pint glass) its a great deal. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and will entertain any questions you could possibly have. I continue to have high hopes for this brewery as they continue to build their line up | | GodOfThunder (24), Orlando, Florida | | December 25, 2008 Stopped by with KAggie while visiting the Houston area. The owner was awesome, letting me try his standards like the IPA, Blonde and Rauch and even a young stout and a homebrew mead. Very hospitable. The beers were very good, too. Especially the stout. Cant wait until he can get that one on the market. | | KAggie97 (213), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas | | April 20, 2008 [ Updated July 12, 2010 ] Rated in the early stages of the brewery. Beer is nice, quite flavorful; staff is beyond courteous. Can’t wait to see what this brewery makes/offers in the future. Gig’em, Aggies. |
