Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place before. I called him to ask if he would be open, and he made sure he’d be there upon my arrival. Small but well-layed out store a few minutes from De Molen restaurant. Great selection of lots of hard to find Dutch micro’s. Prices were decent, friendly owner, good service. Shame it’s in such a remote place.

Small shop in the town centre, 5 mins walk from train station. Surprsingly good selection of Dutch micro and absolutely hard to find local Dutch breweries. Friendly owner takes time to advise and chat. Very good prices compared to most shops nowadays, who think they can cash in on the hype. Easy going place and a must visit for the foreign beerhunters.

Shop located about 150m away from De Molen. Very friendly owner (also the brewer of some of the beers offered). He was very helpfull, not really knowledgeble about the beers he was selling, but very much willing to help, very friendly. 95% beers from Holland. About 70 different breweries at the moment. Some of them are going bad though. Would recommend it overall if you’re at De Molen. Not worth a detour.

Small store near De Molen with a huge selection of Dutch beers. From the big names, Emelisse, De Molen, etc to the smaller ones, including several i never even heard about. Good prices, think the beers i bought average out to 1-1,5€ a bottle. Good friendly service who speaks good english.

A goal we can all get behind. He tries to have only Dutch breweries and though this unfortunately means not all beers will be sold it is awesome to see beers I have only seen near where they were brewed in one little store. Great place, De Molen visitors should go here too, it’s down the road from them

Visited March 2013. 150+ Dutch beers. The owners goal is to have beers from all Dutch Breweries. Good selection.

Good bottle shop with beers from the twelve Dutch provinces, at least one beer from an province. Helpful owner who working at the printshop at the other side of this beer shop. Great selection of Dutch beers, some Belgians (the usual suspects) too. Come back here often. Brewery de Molen is nearby and should combine a visit if you’re in Bodegraven.

Lovely little shop. Talked to the owner/shop keeper for a while about de Molen. Bought a solid selection of Emelisse and t’ij beers. Pricing was rather solid (28 euros for 7 beers).

I was delighted to find that Bodegraven now has not one but two excellent bottle shops. Speciaal Bier Winkel is on the same street as De Molen, close to the village centre. Everything is neatly laid out and there’s a very good selection of mainly Dutch and Belgian bottles at reasonable prices. The service was also very friendly and helpful.
