| mcox90 (40), Wilton, New Hampshire | | August 2, 2011 Went for lunch here while on vacation in Maine. We arrived just as they were opening, so service was prompt. They had 5 of their own beers on tap plus some macro bottles. I had a couple differant ones which were fair to good. The food was great. We had a chicken pot pie that was delicious and a generous portion. | | simonbilyk (12), Maine | | July 25, 2009 Stopped for lunch and tried their one of their seasonal beers, a wit. It was quite disapointing, tasted watery, and the lemon it came with was a little on the brown side. Maybe I just wasn’t in a good mood, the place is probably completely different when there’s snow on the ground. Brew equipment is in a neat glass-walled room you can look down into when you enter (it was dark and didn’t appear to have been used for a couple days at least). | | 6ROW (40), corpus christi, Texas | | February 8, 2009 good food but i’m not sure why its called a brewpub. i took a look @ the brewing room and every thing had a inch of dust on it i hope they don’ brew in there (not so clean. | | MartinT (469), Montreal, Quebec | | August 10, 2006 Stopped over here on the way back home from Bar Harbor, and was surprised to get, in the middle of summer, their Jamaican Stout Reserve on tap. A beautiful barrel-aging experiment for strong flavor lovers. The place is obviously built for skiers to put their feet up after a long day on the slopes, with fireplaces set up on the terrace and lawnchair backrests made of actual skis. We only stopped in for 2 beers, the second being their Black Bear Porter which was pretty hoppy for the style, and decent overall. I’d definitely stop over again next time I drive by, and this time I’ll stay a little longer to get the feel of the place. | | BitchesBrew (48), Oakland, California | | February 20, 2006 Not a bad place. Decent ambiance and food. Pretty crowded during the weekend dinner rushes, but overall a good place. Served mostly all Stone Coast brews- not too bad. |
