Went for lunch here while on vacation in Maine. We arrived just as they were opening, so service was prompt. They had 5 of their own beers on tap plus some macro bottles. I had a couple differant ones which were fair to good. The food was great. We had a chicken pot pie that was delicious and a generous portion.

Stopped for lunch and tried their one of their seasonal beers, a wit. It was quite disapointing, tasted watery, and the lemon it came with was a little on the brown side. Maybe I just wasn’t in a good mood, the place is probably completely different when there’s snow on the ground. Brew equipment is in a neat glass-walled room you can look down into when you enter (it was dark and didn’t appear to have been used for a couple days at least).

Stopped over here on the way back home from Bar Harbor, and was surprised to get, in the middle of summer, their Jamaican Stout Reserve on tap. A beautiful barrel-aging experiment for strong flavor lovers. The place is obviously built for skiers to put their feet up after a long day on the slopes, with fireplaces set up on the terrace and lawnchair backrests made of actual skis. We only stopped in for 2 beers, the second being their Black Bear Porter which was pretty hoppy for the style, and decent overall. I’d definitely stop over again next time I drive by, and this time I’ll stay a little longer to get the feel of the place.

Not a bad place. Decent ambiance and food. Pretty crowded during the weekend dinner rushes, but overall a good place. Served mostly all Stone Coast brews- not too bad.
