On the banks of the Thames this Fullers pub is a picture postcard English pub. Log fires, comfy settees, welcoming cosy atmosphere, decent food and decent beer. Fullers stock there own bottles (ESB, Pride plus several others I couldnít read) as well as mass market stuff, ciders etc. ESB, Pride, Discovery on tap as well as a rotational tap of there own also usual lagers/ciders plus a decent wine and spirit collection. Snacks are decent and pub grub from the restaurant is great. Its not the cheapest pub youíll visit but itís a pleasure to drink in! The building dates to the 16th century and Fullers have capitalised on its charm. On the banks of the Thames it has private moorings and also has 11 (pricey) en-suite rooms and a restaurant. In the summer the patio is sunny and busy with locals and those passing along the river. The best pub in Staines. In fact the only one really worth writing about!
