The Abbey was great for a lunch time visit. Pretty damn solid burger and the good quality beef served rare was appreciated. Taplist I guess you could say is on the safer side but for a lunch stop there’s a couple of solid beers on the list. Efficient staff. Cozy place.

I love this place. I try to go every time I’m in Baltimore. The beer list is okay, with a few taps and an okay bottle list, but the food is where it’s at. If you love burgers and beer, you have to go here.

Have visited twice now.... Burgers cannot be beat both in quality and the selection of styles. Beer selection is fair, limited in number but both times there have been good options to choose from. Service was great the first time and slow the second. Overall, I recommend a visit.

Short walk down an alley, right off the main strip in Federal Hill. Plenty of seating and a bar on each floor, but there can be a wait from time to time. Servers are friendly. Beer selection is just okay. Pretty standard craft offerings and the same is true for the bottle selection. Food, specifically the burgers, is where this place shines. Amazing specialty burgers along with a build-your-own burger menu offering endless choices, including rare meat choices such as kangaroo, duck, lamb, and bison. Food alone makes this worth a visit.

Small pub with a british vibe, which seems to be a trend around here (small space, dark hardwood, soccer memorabilia behind the bar) - got a little sick of eating crab while I was in town, so I decided I need a solid burger - in that respect, this place did not disappoint - extensive burger menu, with a build your own that starts with a variety of different meats (different kinds of beef, deer, duck, crocodile, etc.) - I went conventional with a slight twist and got smoked angus with blue cheese and chipotle mayo - the meat was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of smoke - very tasty - the beer list is mostly some very standard stuff, with only a handful of regionals that are "less than regular" - however, you’ll find something worth drinking - as stated, this is really a place to come for good hamburgers that happens to have some decent beer - if you know that going in, you’ll leave happy.

Visit this place for the burgers, not the beer. The beer selection is simple with some solid beers, though nothing stands out as exceptional. The bottle list improves the overall selection somewhat, but there are better places in Baltimore for beers. Having said all this, the burgers are pretty damn good, with something for everyone, even Aussies - they serve Kangaroo.

Great place for AMAZING Burgers. Has a check off list similar to a sushi bar where you build your own gourmet burger. Meats run the gamut from your typical sirloin, and angus, to more exotic such as Kobe, Wagu, Turkey, and even ostrich, bison, and alligator. Toppings vary widely as well from the typical to rare cheeses, truffle oils, and even crab dip. Beers include a constantly changing tap selection featuring seasonal craft brews, and the usual Belgian suspects, along with a few rarer ones as well. there is a huge range of belgian and german bottles, as well as a great selection of cans (beleive it or not!) Aside from Max’s in fells, probably one of the largest selection of belgians in Baltimore. If you love burgers you have to check this place out..
