Ambiance: Clean, open, loud but not too loud, it’s always crowded, so make a reserve; parking lot is a nightmare, so use the complimentary valet. Service: Went twice. First time, service was good. Second time, service was amazing. My buddy ordered a regular beer, they brought him the cask version (he hates cask ales, go figure). Waiter apologized and brought him three free samples of similar beers (non-cask version had kicked), then replaced the cask version with his choice. Staff seemed beer-smart. Selection: About 30-40 taps, half Olivers and half guest taps, mostly regional. All solid craft choices. About three cask options, and a small but well-chosen bottle list as well. Food: Fare was AMAZE-BALLS. Go for the mac and cheese, which comes in a mini cast-iron dutch oven. It’s creamy, topped with buttery-crunchy panko, and you can customize it with pulled pork, smoked jalapenos, andouille sausage, etc. Value: Food is pretty high priced, but the beers are mid-range; there are actually some decent beer specials, your waiter will fill you in. It’s nice that the beers come in three sizes (10, 16, 20), and free samples, too. Overall: Really excellent place, definitely worth trying. The first time we went, we made reservations on our way out the door for three days later, it’s that good.

Happy to finally see a place open in the old Rocky Run spot and to have it be a beer spot. Walked in to a really nice set up. Very modern looking. Very happy to have the Oliver beers in Columbia. Great selection of Olivers brews along with some guest beers. Our waiter was excellent, very knowledgeable and diligent. The food was great. All fresh and good portions. I will say it is a little pricey for the food, there’s really no middle priced options but it is excellent quality so you are getting what you are paying for. I will be a repeat visitor.

This is the newest Pratt Street/Olivers Ales establishment, located in Columbia, and decorated quite different from their downtown Baltimore locales. The place is large and there are about two dozen taps, half being Olivers Ales. I did not eat on this visit, but will in the near future. The beer prices are a tad high, but still cheaper than Frisco just down the road.

Left food as not applicable because I came in well past midnight after my shift when their kitchen was already closed. But from what I can see on the menu, they have great food & I’m looking forward to eating there again soon. And of course to drink some more of their craft brews available both on tap & in bottles!
