Iím not really sure what I can say about this place that hasnít already been said. One thing for sure, it is what they all say it is. Itís always refreshing to have a place that is talked up as being THE place to go, and it proves itself. Staying about a 10 minute rainy walk away was more than worth it. Full list of beers with a wide variety of pour sizes. Mostly BC regional beers but some decent representation of the PNW as well. Nice, dual upstairs/downstairs atmosphere, with a bar on each floor. Didnít order food, but if I had come hungry, there were a dozen things I would have enjoyed ordering. Great beers, great conversation with the barkeep. Excellent experience here for me. Iíll be back on my next trip for sure, if not, again this trip. (latter more likely)

A little walk out of Gastown, but well worth it. Choice of 50 beers and not just the regular stuff you can get anywhere else. Many seasonals were on offer. Beer flights of 4 beers were available.

Visited first time Friday June 19, 2015.
Arrived about 6.30 pm or so. Busy filled up place, waited 15 min or so to get a few seats at the bar. Flights available. Good friendly service. Didnít eat, sampled some fries from a friend that was very good fries though and his burger looked very good as well. Rotating tap list. Wifi available. Can see myself return for sure if I had the option for it.

Great spot, one of Canadaís best for sure. Solid 40ish taps, lively atmosphere. A bit out of the way on the very edge of the Gastown area. Service was great.

Located on the edge of gastown. Had to walk a bit, but it could have been the jetlag on the first day that made this walk this hard :p. (We came from Canada Place). Nice interior, the wood gave it a dark interior. But it was cosy! A lot of people inside. We were lucky to get a table for two. Service was quick, friendly, not at all pushy. He knew his beers and was willing to help us out. The tasting bat was the best option for our first drinks in Canada. Selection was large enough. Certainly if you are new to Canadian (like I am). Canít remember what we ate, but it was very welcome at that hour. I think it was some regular barfood. Prices were really good for a city and for the tasters. Good start of our Canadian trip last month.

Conveniently we stayed about a three minute walk from here. That decision was only about half intentional. It was also the first stop (other than our AirBNB apartment) upon arrival in Vancouver.

On the edge of Gastown, sort of a minimalist building from the outside and almost easy to miss. Small "patio" outdoors with a handful of seats. More table and bar seating inside and a downstairs, though not sure thatís always open... A very modern, almost industrial feel to this place.

The food is modern, perhaps "gastropub" style is a good way to describe it. Limited but solid menu. The beer list is extensive and offers a lot of options for different tastes. Pours of all sizes are available, including tasters (though theyíre 6 oz!) of all beers offered.

Great service on our visits throughout the weak. Good rotation on the taps and a nice selection of a variety of BC beers (a few from OR/WA mixed in as well). A few casks on during all the visits, too. Pricing is not bad, even for Vancouver.

Just a class place. Would happily come here all the time. Easily the best beer place in the city.

Checked out this top rated place on a one night layover in Vancouver to see if it lives up to the hype and it does. This place is HUGE compared to anywhere in Japan. Lots of dark wood, informed staff but kind of stretched thin so not as kind/friendly as other places in town. Seating for a good 2-300 people, tons of great beerand tasting bats makes this a great addition to a visit to Vancouver. All around probably the most extensive tap list in town but it is a bit overwhelming. But the best selection in BC with reasonable prices for a tasting set.

Cool place located right on the tracks on the edge of Gastown, looking out at the Rockies. Excellent selection with lots of local stars. Crew takes time to set you up with something nice. Nice food served from 5PM. Not your regular pub fare, but fresh cooking. Also nice charcuterie and cheese plates.
