I finally made it down to this place after a couple years worth of constant almost going. Place is pretty cool. Solid tap list that covers a lot of bases. Food list is nice. Though on the pricey side, itís a nice, in-between from pub grub, and fine dine. Beer was great, burger was great, bartender was a lot of fun to talk to. Noticed they offer a nice breakfast menu. Iíd love to come back for breakfast and beer. A lot of spirits and specialty mixed drinks if thatís your thing. Had a lot of fun here, good place. Iíll definitely return.

Part of the Brouwerís-Bottleworks chain of establishments. This one still emphasizes the cellar and bar heavily, but is most like a restaurant out of all the places. Itís in the busy strip of bars and restaurants east of Green Lake, so parking can be hit or miss.
Itís reclaimed older construction, but definitely not of historic vintage. Two front doors, a couple small dining rooms, a nice long bar. Itís all pleasant dark wood with attractive low light.
A bunch of us came in for brunch during the coffee beer fest. They had switched the whole tap list to run down a couple dozen beers with coffee added. They do this a handful of times a year, changing the whole list to reflect a theme. Pretty cool! Since they have such heavy connection to the beer industry, theyíre able to get a lot of good kegs.
They also feature great lists of tequila and a bunch of other liquors, plus nice selections of wine.
The food is heavy, rich comfort food, at least at breakfast. Lots of potatoes and cheese and biscuits and heavy breads. They make all their baked goods from scratch on site; the same goes for their sausages and cured meats and presumably some other menu items/ingredients.
The staff is very pleasant and right on point throughout the meal--lots of water and coffee refills, cheerful answers to all questions, good information about whatís on offer.
The prices here are a tiny bit higher than most comparable breakfast spots; not sure how the dinner menu stacks up. But the food was very good for the most part--good corned beef hash and poutine, great biscuits. Had a bite of an awesome sandwich, and evidently the chicken and waffles are out of this world. Probably a good idea to avoid the scrambles, judging by my man Jís experience.
Overall, this place is definitely worth repeats.

Same people as Bottleworks and Brouwers Cafe. Smaller, modern wooden interior. More extensive food menu it seemed over Brouwers Cafe. Tap list is smaller but again suffers from the same problem with only 10 or less local WA state taps and then a lot of Belgian and other import stuff. De Ranke XXX Bitter on tap must be a Shelton Brother hook up exclusive. Staff was friendly. Food was disappointing. Once again there fries and dipping sauces are dope. But the pork belly sandwich I had was messy with way too much bread. Not as disappointing as the mussels at Brouwers though. Again, sampler flights not available, which is annoying. Sort of like Brouwers Cafe-Mini.

Solid beer list (as well as bourbon and tequila). Prices are pretty high (half of the 12 oz pours were $9.00 on my last visit, and nothing was particularly special). Mostly (classy) comfort food. Nice enough place. Brunch is good, but donít make the mistake of bringing your kids.
Despite all that, I donít honestly enjoy spending time here, and rarely visit.

Solid beer list with a nice can selection. Great food, also with a good selection. Service was a bit disorganized but friendly enough. A bit pricy though on some of the beers ($9 12 oz. pours - really?). Certainly recommended if in the area.

Located in one of Seattleís nicest neighborhoods, itís basically a mini-Brouwers with a smaller tap list but equally impressive food, atmosphere and service. Also a great selection of quality spirits if youíre in the mood for something stronger than beer. Iíd definitely be a regular here if I lived close by.

No bottles, only canned beer and taps. Good rotation on taps. Friendly and helpful service. Open for breakfast. Good addition to the neighborhood, not as busy or hectic as Brouwers, but along the same lines.
