80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 decaturstevo (102) decatur, Tennessee | February 1, 2013 Lotta beers on tap. Many local/regional selections. Pretty crowded until about 7pm on a Thursday night, then it thinned out. Service was ok 2 bar tenders neither looking to stay busy but still pretty neat place. I will stop by every time Im in Knoxville. | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 Hoppysnob (3) , | September 15, 2012 Love this location! | 30 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 2/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 5/20 TN_Gabe (14) Tennessee | July 29, 2012| Updated December 26, 2012 Strip mall, repetitve tap choices, sat with an empty pint for 5 minutes while the owner and bartender chatted to a half empty bar. Bad, even for Tn. | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 elcig (5) Oliver Springs, Tennessee | July 14, 2012| Updated December 26, 2012 Pretty good selection, always friendly staff. My wife goes to K-town to my growler refilled here and they’re always helpful. Website has current brews on tap so I can pick out what she’s getting. Works great for me. | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 15/20 Suttree (131) Knoxville, Tennessee | November 20, 2011| Updated December 26, 2012 This place is in a small, kinda hidden strip mall. It seems a little antiseptic, but that may be a symptom of being in a brand new building. Selection is pretty good for east TN, with pretty much anything under 6% that is available in Knox County. Nicely laid out, and mix-sixes available. Prices seem a little on the high side. | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 18/20 nearbeer (163) Knoxville, Tennessee | November 18, 2011| Updated December 9, 2012 A craft and import beer store located in a small, upscale strip mall. Has a nice little bar with 10 rotating regional taps for a pint or two, tastings, and growler fills. No food service, although you can order or bring in. Bartender says they plan to go to 20 + taps in the near future. Owner is a great guy; very friendly and has plans to open other locations in the area. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. They let you bust up six packs, buy singles and build your own sixers, which I really like. Prices are a little bit high. Again for those visitors from out-of-town, the fooked-up TN beer laws allow a place like this to sell only 6.2% abv and less. Gotta go to a liquor store to get higher than that. |
