The place is under new ownership since the last review. Very homey feel to the place as you might expect from a place called the Cottage. They have a decent selection on tap including Blue Point, Cigar City, Shiner and Dogfish Head stuff. The food is excellent. Service was good but not entirely knowledgeable and the prices are good too.

I was excited to hear they had Three Philosophers, well when I went, they were out. So I ordered a Great White draft, out! So I ordered a Sam Adam’s Cherry Wheat, OUT. I got a gin and tonic, then came back and ended up with a Budweiser Stout, pretty horrible. I can understand running out of product, it happens. Staff didn’t seem to know anything about beer. Good live music, the food looked good. I’ll have to try it again when i come back down south.
