70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20
Just across the street from Standard Tap. Good to see that most bottles are stored refrigerated but there are more scattered around on shelves. A lot of the stock I eyed off elsewhere around the city. Thereís a deli at the back grilling up sandwiches and the like. I didnít have any staff approach me to ask if I needed any help but this could vary with each visit.

70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 13/20
A cafe, deli, grocery and craft beer shop. Selection is big and impressive enough. Not much help. Prices are a bit high and some bottles are sitting in the sun. Slight tweaks would make this awesome, for me it was bitter sweet.

90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20
When I visited: Late September 2014.
What I bought: Timothy Taylor Landlord Pale Ale, BrewDog Libertine Black Ale, Maine Beer Peeper Ale, Sly Fox Route 113 IPA, Ommegang Hop House, Elysian Night Owl Pumpkin Ale, Boulevard Double Wide IPA, Anchor Big Leaf Maple Autumn Red, Founders Devil Dancer, Brooklyn Sorachi Ace, Zywiec Porter, Allagash Saison, Deschutes Jubelale, North Coast Pranqster, Urthel Samaranth, Stillwater A Saison Darkly, and Stone Coffee Milk Stout.
What I liked: Clean and well-organized aisles, love the fact that most of the beer is fresh and refrigerated, very impressed with the number of singles available, one of the best selections Iíve come across with an endless range of highly-rated beers from the top beer nations, lots of empty cases available, checkout guy was friendly and explained PAís weird liquor laws to us, prices are reasonable.
What I disliked: As with any beer store they have some dated stock, a few of the products were missing tags, clientele is hipster heavy but that didnít really bother us.
Would I go back? Yes. This place is a ďmustĒ for beer shopping when in Philly.
Overall Rating: 90

76 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20
A little less cramped than their other location south of here in town. Has a nice selection of beers, though most of the interesting stuff I canít find in D.C. is on the pricey side (the Lost Abbey, Port brewing stuff). But the fact that they have it is something. A lot of the stuff doesnít have prices, which can be annoying. A good place to pick up a few missing top beers though for me.

A great place to find some rarer beers, even some with some age on them. However, they are a bit pricey when compared to other bottle shops that Iíve been to.

Great shop. The clerk behind the counter was awesome. She checked everything I asked for without a sign of inconvenience. The shop gets in specialty stuff and has a descent selection. The prices are fair too. I will go back to this place the next time I am in town.

Stopped in here on a recent trip to the area. Figured we were across the street at Standard Tap, might as well go check this place out as well.
It is actually larger than I was expecting it to be. Vibe was decent, a few people sitting around having a beer and waiting for food. Quality was pretty good, lots of good beer and the food looked good as well, although I didnít try it myself. Service was pretty good. The girl behind the bar knew quite a bit about the beers and even went in the back to check and see if they had some of the things we were looking for.
The best part is definitely the selection. They had a TON of bottles. Everything from RR to locals like Troegs to even some Cascade. I grabbed a bottle of 50/50 Brandy Barrel, the only one I was missing. When I went to check out I was told it was $35....I think I almost had a heart attack when she said it. If I didnít need to to complete my set I would have walked out of there. It seems all of their prices are sky high.
Overall a great, all be it expensive, bottle shop that I will definitely return to when I am in the area.

Similar setup to the city center Foodery but much larger with easier to navigate space and more beers to choose from. Selection is top notch: Alesmith, Cigar City, Lost Abbey, Russian River, weird Norwegian and Italian stuff, Stillwater and lots of local stuff. Everything can be bought as singles. But again, the big negative for this store like its brother is the PRICING. No price tags on bottles. And the prices can be high to outrageous. I picked out 3 special beers I like: Stillwater Table Beer 22oz, Grassroots Wachu Saison 12oz, and Cisco Lady of the Woods 750mL. And the price together was $50!!!!! Whaaaaaaaa. Service guy was texting on his phone and generally disinterested. Fine with me.
