This has become my go to local pub. By far the best beer bar in Waltham. It has a european feel to it. Great taps. I have had Hellhound, Burton Baton, Breakfast Stout and Nugget Nectar all within the past few months. The always seem to have at least one good fresh IPA on at all times and a tap dedicated to Jack’s Abby. Reccomended for a pint if in Waltham.

The best craft beer bar in Waltham at the moment. Focus is on crafts and although there are many pseudo-craft beers to wade through, seasoned beer geeks should have no problem choosing a beer or two to drink in a nice clean, comfortable atmosphere. Modern dark wood pub with enough lighting to give it a lively feel. L shaped bar with about 15 stools runs along one wall, about 3-5 high tops run along the other, and 2 black leather couches in the front. Bartenders are very friendly and will let you sample anything on tap before ordering. Some more knowledgeable than others, but all seem to be enthusiastic about craft beer. Freshness of beer was ok, but not stellar - hopefully some more craft drinkers in there will help with the turnover and selection. Food limited to sandwiches, wraps, and some fried offerings, but looks promising. Bands and DJ’s play with no cover on weekend nights.
