I visit this place whenever I pass by HK. The atmosphere is nice at any time and the selection is very good either on tap or bottle. Recommendable for those that visit central HK and want a good brew in a nice place.

Very nice and highly recommended pub. When I was there they had only two beers from Hongkong on tap. Lots of bottles available, always changing taps and a very friendly service!

Decent bar with decent beers. Horrendously expensive outside happy hour, note there is no happy hour discount on draught beers. Worth a short visit if you can stand the braying expats.

A true standby in the Hong Kong beer scene. After the move and expansion to Graham Street a few years back, The Globe has gone from strength to strength as a more upscale English-style gastropub. Super-friendly staff, especially given Hong Kong’s notoriously low standards of service in restaurants. Great selection of 100+ bottles and a handful of dedicated craft taps, as well as a better-than-usual selection of macros like Budvar. Food has become a bit pricey but the pies are to die for. A top place to watch Premier League or cricket matches, too.

Large British pub in the heart of Central usually filled with expats. Nice tap selection of solid European classics with decent glassware, as well as a few tasty guest taps from HK,/US/Japan/Australia. They also have an impressive international bottle list. Staff is not too knowledgeable but usually friendly. Good value during happy hour. Convenient location, opened for lunch.

We visited this beer bar on 27.6.2014. Good location with a long beer bar and a separate counter for pies. The beer selection is impressive. The have around 15 beers on tap including 2 beers from HK breweries. The bottle list is very good including some rarities - Black Isle beers from Scotland, some good IPA’s from Japan,....We will definitely come back.

Very nice place located in Honk Kong island (central). 18 taps among which 6 or 7 craft: the selection is good and you can find local beers (I tasted the pale ale). Food is good and they have also brunch menu. Good selection of bottles. Prices in line with other bars. It deserves at least a visit!

Big basement space with a lot of blonde wood. Lots of variety: bar seating, booths, communal tables, private tables and a lounge area with sofa. 18 taps with a rotating selection of about 6 craft beers, including local brews from Young Master. The remaining taps include some well-chosen mainstream beers like Old Speckled Hen, Murphy’s, Budvar. Craft bottle selection is large and well-chosen with plenty of variety from Belgium, US, Japan, NZ, Australia, UK, Italy. Food is British style and very good; meat pies are handmade on site. Service is generally friendly but sometimes a bit harried at busy hours. Good value for Hong Kong, especially before 8pm when there is a discount. Probably the best all-around bar in town.

On a steep hill, very anonymous outside, but very nice and big inside. Huge! 10 draft beers and 100+ bottles. No Hong Kong beers, though, which was a little bit disappointing. Nice and quiet at 11 am :-).
