Excellent tap selection. Was lucky enough to get Bell's Expedition Stout a few years ago here. Food is mostly traditional pub with a artisan twist. It's the type of place hipsters would be drawn to; fortunately i don't see too many.

Visited 8 o’clock or so on a Wednesday evening. Corner bar located on the main street of Massapequa Park, close to the train stop. Bar is at the front, restaurant seating is around the two sides. Nice copper tin bar. 22 or so well chosen beers on draft, along with a decent bottle selection. There was a lot of room in the bar, this place appeared to be built for a a crowd I didn’t eat here, but looked to be pretty straight forward pub food menu. Service was friendly, both bartenders went out of there way to introduce themselves, and make sure I had what I needed. I was looking for a place between my meeting on Long Island and Kennedy airport, and this place fit the bill perfectly.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

This is my local gastro pub! 22 taps of frequently changing craft beers with a slight focus on the local breweries. The food is top notch, I’ve had most things on the menu at one point or another and have to recommend the Winstons Hash, mashed potato wontons, Mediterranean platter and potato coins as appetizers. Entrees it is too hard to choose one. I love the chicken tikka masala and the pesto pasta dish. The burgers are top notch as well!!! As an aside the place is very kid friendly and laid back which is really nice and it caters to sports as well with a plethora of TV’s to watch.

Nice craft beer selection, frequently updated. Knowledgeable bartenders give good suggestions. Food is above average.

I had been told by my beer guy to check this place out. A bit far from my house, I wasn’t really interested. WOW!!! I am now! I’ll be back again & again! I can hop off the train and walk there in a couple of minutes. The beer selection was top-notch. The food was also great! Mashed potato won-tons are a must! Great service, fun bartenders, beer & food! See you again soon!

Nice little neighborhood bar. Sat at the bar and had 3 beers on tap, the mussels which were a little disappointing, and the fish sandwich which was pretty good. Prices weren’tto bad for LI. Bartender was super cool. Nice neighborhood crowd and not beern geeky at all. Would go back. Food is better at Croxley’s, but I think you will find more one offs and seasonals at this place.

We took LIR out from city on Friday and pub crawled our way back home. Most places were dives but this was a gem. Nice selection of drafts, friendly service, and cool setting. I wish I had some food and could have stayed for more than a beer but alas such is the long island pub crawl challenge

Attractive old fashioned pub atmosphere. Attentive service. The selection is very good, lots of craft beer on tap and in bottles. Decent rotation of taps as well. Nice looking resturant section in back. Prices are about in line for a bar with this kind of beer available. Convenient location. Nice place. Good to see these types of places popping up around here.

It is positively criminal that this place has a mere two ratings as it is probably one of the better bars on Long Island for beer. The bar is well lit and quiet, perfect for rating and discussing the numerous beer they have available. The selection at my visit included the likes of Captain Lawrence, Barrier (in fact, they carried everything from Barrier) and Greenport. Plenty of other stuff ranging from the easy to find to the mildly rare filled out the rest of the taps. Ther service was, in a word, fantastic. The staff was super friendly and easily went above and beyond the usual "smile and nod" serivce of other places. This was the first time I really got to know a bartender pretty well (she has an MSW and is currently on hiatus from Law School at Hofstra). The food was great and anyone who like cheeseburgers owes themselves a trip out here to try the Good Life Burger. Unfortunately, it can get a little pricey and a burger and two tap beers came out to around $20 before tip.

This is place is, without a doubt, worth a visit. Especially considering that it is walking distance to the Massapequa Park train station on the LIRR. If you are driving however, a large municipal parking lot across the street is there for your use and the famous All American Drive in is less than 10 minutes away.
