Stopped by a while back. I really liked the selection, and some prices were really reasonable/cheap (Wyeast, for example) but some were outrageous (hops.) Service was helpful, but not very friendly. I went home with a bunch of goodies, but don’t know if I’ll go back. It’s a very long drive from where I’m at and with inconsistent pricing... Update... add three months to the clock and prices have gone up by 10-50% everywhere. Very little hasn’t been jacked up for the new year. Some of the European malts have gone up $20 per bag in the time I had my back turned.

Best brewing and wine making supply store in the area. They stock a large amount of varied ingredients. Staff is very helpful in homemade recipes as well as their standards.

Went here for some supplies my first time homebrewing. SUPER helpful: they ship to you, you can shop there or you can pick up at the store if you place an order. They’ve got a ton of supplies for everything you could possibly need and the staff are always considerate and helpful.

Have been in almost all homebrew stores in Mich and Ohio. They have the largest selection of grains and most other products of all the other stores. If you also make wine, they have a winery and tastings of most every wine kit on the market. Sponsor of the Akron Homebrew Club (SAAZ).

This is the premiere homebrew shop in the Akron area. A family owned and operated business. These guys are fantastic owners and great brewers with a long history in the art so they know what they are doing. Wide variety of grains, extracts, hops, yeasts and adjuncts. The ingredient options are amazing. Tons of supplies, I’ve never left without having what I went for. Friendly as well, they gladly help answer any questions and will offer some very good advice as well. You can be a novice and not feel overwhelmed or stupid. Great store, great selection and competitive prices to boot.

One of the better online Homebrew Supply shops. Returns and exchanges are handled very expeditiously. Prices are a bit higher than most.

My local, ingredients are fresh, have whatever I need in stock. Staff is knowledgeable, one of the owners is a certified judge. Took an all-grain class there, it was excellent. We also tasted beer the whole time.

Superb selection of, always in date, brewing supplies. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpfull to new brewers.
