Located within a small shopping complex next to Bank station, if you take the correct exit out of the tube maze you can avoid hitting the street at all to enter this pub. It is on two levels, with the lower level containing the main action where the main bar is. At the rear is the upper level, which is small but also has a bar and an exit on to the street. Curiously it also contains the only window as the downstairs section is below street level and therefore is enclosed. The decor is a lighter wood style and comfortable enough. Ales is on both bars but the greater selection is down below.

Not my favorite Spoonies in the area; I far prefer the Crosse Keys and the Hamilton Hall. This one is more modern and lacks the charm of these other two. Still, an alright place to come for a few ales.
