A nice view over the harbour, decent food, with a good regional beer selection including most of the pacific northwest and california. A must when you’re in the capital city.

Nice place to grab a pint in the afternoon and watch the water, can get a bit crowded with the cruise ships. Mix of locals and tourists in the summer. One of the better food options in Juneau.

Great spot for tourists to stop on the way to or from their cruise ship. The place is right along the docks, not far from where the cruise ships were. There is a large bay window so you can watch the float planes land and take off. There were a few pilots standing inside chatting after and before flights. We sat at a bar table and the bartender waited on us so she knew what was available. The food was decent and they had a nice selection of Alaskan and a couple Midnight Sun IPAs on tap, as well as Deshutes and other good stuff. Good bottles as well. Definitely worth the stop.

Great spot for food that attracts tourists and locals alike. Respectable tap list, but nothing out of the ordinary. Go for the halibut tacos and the view from the wharf.

Didn’t want to spend time on the trip to Alaskan brewing. Ditched the family after a couple of hours and sat at the bar and had 3 pints while watching the float planes land and take off. A real pub after the tourist trap of Red Dog. Model planes hanging from the rafters. Over 60 bottles including Stone. Watch out for the chilled glasses. Pilsner Urquell on tap along with Midnight Sun and Alaskan.

Visited late on a Tuesday afternoon in September, this very cool setting has a rich history, various airplane paraphernalia displayed around the large room that overlooks a lovely view of the waterfront. Fun background music was playing and it wasn’t too busy, but we could sense it picking up more when we left and the shifts changed. Service was generally confused and not aware of the beers available, but they did bring us tasty Macho Nachos. Brews available were in fair shape (Deschute, Kona, Butte Creek), and aside from the disappointing service, a recommendable destination when in town.

View out the windows is pretty sweet, with planes and cruise ships providing character. Tables themselves are just okay though, and the upstairs is kinda ghetto. Service was friendly but kind of ditzy about the beer list. Passed on a couple of draft options in favour of bottles mostly because I wasn’t sure what we were going to get... Decent modest selection of Alaskan and PNW products. Nachos were decent though absolutely drowned in toppings (which was a mixed blessing/curse).

Popped in for a pint and a peek. Decent enough selection, about 12-15 taps and 50 or so bottles when I was there. Alaskan brews on tap, a couple of Midnight Sun brews in bottles, and a variety of not-hard-to-find-elsewhere micros. Didn’t try the food.

When in Juneau, I highly recommend this place. Great food and great views. Draft selection was the best that I saw in Juneau. Some usual suspects, some macros, Pyramid, Redhook, Deschutes, Midnight Sun, Alaskan and Widmer. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any Haines Brewery beers while I was there. They had a slew of bottled beers, too. Sadly, many of them were macros, but there were a few surprises as well. For Juneau, I doubt it would get any better.
