The Jolly Brewmaster is located a short distance south of the central part of Cheltenham. Situated in between a block of flats and houses in a residential area, it looks like a classic English pub from the outside. The inside is what you would expect with the atmosphere of a neighborhood pub - several small wooden tables in the front with alot of wood panelling all around. There is a nice circular bar towards the back of the room with about 8-10 casks and maybe 8 regular taps. It was definitely a locals type of place with some middle-aged and older regulars sitting at the bar in the evening. The selection was decent enough for Cheltenham - only English beers on tap (I believe) but nothing too crazy. One beer that I had here suffered from some slight diacetyl problems which was disappointing. However, it’s a nice pub that I would return to if I visited Cheltenham again.
