This is probably as good as it gets in Nashville, They have a huge patio with picnic tables and a beer garden they just added with 4 additional taps in the back to hang out at while waiting for a table, small ish bar and parking is on street. place is always jam packed but the tap list is impressive, our server was on top of it, and the food here is amazing. really awesome burgers. Try the farm burger its all you’ll ever need to eat again.

(Visited 05/2012): The Pharmacy is a relatively new restaurant/bar located in East Nashville on McFerrin too far off 31 in what looks like a residential area until you get to the intersection where it is located. Street parking is fairly scarce right by the place but is more abundant a couple blocks away.

The interior opens to a host stand and then indoor table seating, and the bar is toward the back. Past the seating area on the left it opens to a patio and beer garden, lending the place an open and communal feel whether you are inside or out. Old breweriana and beer ads here and there. There are boards near the bar featuring current beers.

As for the beers, there are 12 taps with a few regional selections from brewers like Chattanooga, French Broad, Jackalope, Craggie and Blackstone. Other craft brewers like Brooklyn and Green Flash/Founders Linchpin on our visit. As for bottles there are 20 or so with offerings from Sweetwater, Schlafly, Highland, Lucky Bucket and Lazy Magnolia. Some imports primarily from Germany as well.

Service during our visit was good. The server was familiar with the different beers and made good food recommendations.

Speaking of food, The Pharmacy has hands down one of the most interesting and delicious burgers I have had in awhile. I opted for the Farm Burger and it was incredible. They also do some interesting sodas if you aren’t in for beer.

Overall this is really my type of place and I will absolutely keep it at the top of the list for future visits to Nashville.

Not a very extensive draft selection and uninteresting beers on tap (lots of pales, German styles, and nothing over 6.5%). Didn’t try the food, but the atmosphere is nice.

Located in the every growing artsy hipster neighborhood of East Nashville. They have a nice beer garden when the weather is nice. Burgers are OUTSTANDING and are a bargain at around $7-9. The beer selection is very respectable, and drafts tend to focus on the region. Kids menu is cheap, and the kids loved the phosphates. Beer is priced about average, but the food is a priced very well. Great place to eat on a budget. They do get very very busy, so I recommend eating there on the off hours. Service can be spotty when they are busy, and they are not really set up well for larger groups (6 or more people). Best place in town for a burger in my opinion

I sincerely love this palce. the beer selection isn’ty extensive, but it is craft only, and offers lots of variety in styles. the food is amazing, some of the best in Nashville, but what i really love is the soda. they create their own sodas on site, like a 50’s diner, and they eve create weird and delicious mixolgy concoctions with the sodas. It can get pretty packed on week nights (hour long wait) so try to arrive early. They also tend to have a lot of events around noon (like gay speed dating). The beer garden is nice when the day is beautiful.
