Food has always been very good, and really enjoy the "exotic" meats they get from time to time. (last trip i enjoyed some kangaroo). Great selection of bottles. Bar staff is mostly very knowledgable. A bit pricy, but with the lack of options for the people in that area, they can be.

Great selection of both draft and bottled micros. the food is great and they always have very exotic foods on the menu as well. For a place that looks like a dive from the outside will pleasently surprise people on the inside! A bit pricy, unless you hit up happy hour, but they can be since they are on of the very few places in the area with the type of diverse selection that they have!!

From the outside it looks like a store in a strip mall. Inside appeared to be a dive bar more than a resturant. But first impressions are NOT always right. Beer selection was very good, some ímenuí items not available though. The food is what put this place over the top. Kangaroo, duck, and a few vegtarian dishes . Not your average pub fare. Iíll be back.

I stopped in around 6pm on a Tuesday. It was not busy at all. Located right along the river, this looks like it would be a local dive from the outside. However, inside is clean and open, with a nice choice of paint color for the walls. They have a bar area, dining area, pool area, and indoor porch area for darts. This place is the textbook example of local beer bar. There are about 10 taps, half of which seem to rotate. Bottle selection is more extensive, and they can provide you a list. I wish the beer cooler were better displayed so that you could browse the bottles. I am not sure if there was a Happy Hour special, because the bartender failed to mention anything OR offer a menu for food ( a huge pet peeve of mine). However- the bartender was nice and friendly. My 12oz bottle of Nugget Nectar was $4.00, which is a little on the high side if you ask me. Overall a decent local beer bar. This is not really worth a special trip in my opinion, but definitely worth a stop if you are in Pittston.

Best selection Iíve ever seen at a bar. Our friends told us that this place may not have the best beers, that it may not have a great selection... they were completely wrong! Not only is the selection great, but the prices are the lowest Iíve ever seen. I paid $6 for a bottle of DeDolle that I usually buy for $5.50 directly from New Beer Distributors in Manhattan. Really awesome place, with some hot girls present to boot. The service could use a little more motivation, but pretty awesome experience regardless. I was surprised that so few people seemed to be taking in either the beer or the wonderful food.

I canít believe this exists in Pittston. They had a happy hour which didnít seem to end with $2 micros (man, the Urthel Quad was good on tap after a Major Tom Pomgrenate). I met some great beer fans and we split a Southampton 10 and a Cantillon Iris. They had Rochefort bottles lined up by number. There is a bartender named Teddy who helps keep the stock updated-he showed me BFM Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien and explained how it was made. My wife swears her chicken soup with Dogfish Head 60 was to die for. Plus, we got to use their parking lot for case splitting. Cheaper than Cooperís and more people friendly. It was an old VFW and has that type of bar while the rest of completely redecorated Beer is available to go as well. The menu is quite interesting too and the crowd seems like a good mix of friendly people and staff. I did find it hard to park as I rolled in with my SUV from the Poconos-next time Iíll bring the eco-friendly and smaller Toyota.

Great selection of premium and Craft brews coupled with great food makes this a place not your average corner bar.

My favorite bar in NEPA or possibly ever! The selction of beer is amazing, Rochefort 10, 8, 6, Duvel, Ommegang, Brooklyn, Voctory and many many others. Nice Belgian selection and great US micro selection As if the beer list wasnít great enough, the food is right up there with it. A very eclectic menu with lots of rare items to choose from.
