Old skool boozer, which was smartly preserved and modernised, sort of, with a range of beer paraphenalia on the walls. Good cask choices and fascinating multi room layout. Another beautiful pub on the Valley of Beer crawl. Not far from Fat Cat, Harlequin and Wellington.

Interesting pub in an area full of good pubs. Especially liked the interesting outside space here, its huge. Decent local cask beers on the bar, not all terribly great, but unusual and some very good.

recently re-opened by a former Harlequin manager. 8 handpulls, serving Abbeydale Deception and a range of well-kept guest beers (usually a mix of local brews and rarities from further afield). Regular beer festivals. Comfortable, with friendly staff. regualr live music - only downside to the place is they often have jazz on the speakers!
