My first choice in the Orono/Bangor area. Lots of choices and the owner is very willing to track down beers and stock them. Variety is perhaps greater then downstairs at Burby and Bates, more world beer here. There is a very small amount of homebrew stuff but it’s dusty and passed over. Beer is in the back corner near the wine. Their beer cooler isn’t always plugged in, so if you’re headed to a bbq then this isn’t the place to stop. Also, none of the beers are in six packs (but there are empty six packs for you to fill.)
