| barak316 (15), Elyria, Ohio | | May 6, 2012 I love this place! Especially on Sunday! The bartenders are always nice and the beer selection is always good. The food by the way is outstanding. Love to go here after work on Sunday and just kick back relax and enjoy the rest of the day. | | miketd (112), Cleveland, Ohio | | March 2, 2012 I can’t believe it took me so long to get to this place. I guess it was because of the hours and my laziness, but it doesn’t matter... this will be a regular hangout for me now. Tucked away in Tremont, just off off W.14, this place is awesome. Cozy interior with brick walls, dark wood and dim lighting. They have one of the best tap lists I’ve seen around town and the food is great. The service I had was awesome - actually, some of the best I’ve had in a while. I know my sample size is small, but I enjoyed this visit quite a bit and plan to go back soon. | | UDBeernut (53), Saugerties, New York | | March 1, 2012 Tremont Tap House is only about 5 minutes off the W14th street exit of I-90, and approximatly 5 minutes from Great Lakes Brewing and Bier Markt.
The Atmosphere was nice, open faced brick with a long bar. Several Flat Panel TV’s behind the bar showing local/National sports. Small crowd being a Tuesday night, but not empty by any means.
Had a nice selection of Tap and Bottled beers. I counted 24 taps in total, but my counting usually sucks. 3 Handles from Bell’s including HopSlam, a few Stone, Rouge, 2 from GLBC including Nosferatu and Xmas Ale, Victory, Southern Tier, Ommegang were all represented well. Beers were served in the correct glass wear.
Service was good, no complaints there.
My wife and I shared several of the happy hour appetizers. Olive Tapenade Pizza Calamari, Pretzel served with a smoked cheese dipping sauceall of which were delicious.
A nice value, my wife and I had all of the food, plus one Ommegang Rare VOS, one Magic Hat #9, and 2 HopDevil all on tap for $34 before tip. Being we ordered the food on happy hour and 2 of the beers where also order during happy hour ($1.50 off drafts).
This is a nice destination that Clevelander’s need to add into thier Beer adventure rounds.
| | bellatts (10), Canfield, Ohio | | November 9, 2011 Always go here for good food and beer, great patio !!! great bartenders, and great events | | Acetobacter (46), Pennsylvania | | March 27, 2011 Visited on a recent trip to see friends in Cleveland. The restaurant resides in a gritty but intriguing area of the city, reminiscent of the storied neighborhoods that are an integral part of any older city. The interior of the restaurant is thoughfully put together; natural light, an eye toward modernism in terms of the furniture, and a generally hipster feel. The tap selection and organization was excellent, a wide variety of great beers divided roughly into origin "Belgian" and dominant flavor profile "Bitter." The "House Burger" was excellent, and a steal at its $6 "happy hour" price. Overall, an absolute gem, and worth seeking out. | | meod1124 (10), | | February 10, 2010 Nice patio. | | lushawn (164), Boston, Massachusetts | | October 20, 2009 Dark, cold, stonelike interior. Good tap selection. I had a saison dupont and gonzo porter on tap. Servers were quick like a cougar, if you get my drift. Worth a stop if you are in the area. Made a quick stop here while we waited for our pizza from edisons. Easy to get in and out quickly. Nice sampler glassware. | | crizay (128), Brook Park , Ohio | | August 3, 2009 Not sure why I haven’t rated this place yet. Another good beer bar in Cleveland. Gastropub theme so all the food is very well made and fresh which also reflects in the price and it’s worth it. Beer is up there with the other local beer bars in which there is something good for everyone. Very nice looking on the inside with plenty of bar seating. It is in what would be more of a dive bar location. It looks like any other house on the street and turning onto a side street from W.25th will probably steer suburbians away. Nice place it’s just not in a good spot for me to go often, although the late food menu is a plus. | | jeffmw (14), | | July 29, 2009 This is a great relatively new spot in town that people are still in the process of discovering. They have a very nice selection of both taps and bottles and usually have a brewery of the month from which they have 5-7 beers on tap. The food is very good. The pretzels with imperial stout cheese is a personal favorite. It’s a little crammed inside but the patio is nice. | | Pipper (34), Ohio | | July 10, 2009 Sweet bar in a decent neighborhood. Inside is beautiful with exposed brick walls and pressed tin ceiling. Beer can collection as art on one wall. Slow but friendly service for only 3 other people in the bar. 21 beers on tap (I was surprised to see Saison Dupont) with a bottle list as well. Good happy hour with $6 burger and $1.50 off all tap beers. I had a steak with Maytag bleu cheese mashed potatoes and was in heaven - no joke best cure for a crippling hangover. |
