2011-05. Visited on the Friday night before the long weekend in May, this is a great English pub with a Canadian upgrade. Fun current music playing, pleasant decor (carpeted floors, wooden tables and comfy chairs), and a surprisingly large amount of room - there’s even a small patio at the back. At least a dozen taps at the bar, found a couple new ones and the rotation has always been interesting. Food menu looks good, we sampled something spicy which was good. Would return with a group of friends for an evening. (4/9/9/9/9/13) 70%

23 taps downstairs inclusive of 4 cask. 2 fullers and 2 local. The place is spacious and has lots of nooks and crannys. There’s a fireplace too. Lots of wood. They show a lot of major sporting events too. Service was very quick and very friendly. The barman told me that the real ale seems to be a big hit. Food was fine (BBQ pork sandwich & fries for $8). The bar is handily located next to Davisville subway station which is great especially in the winter when trudging through the snow might be a challenge.

Less taps than its predecessor at this location, at 18. Second bar upstairs with 13 tapsAggressive carbonation in taps now, and beer a bit too cold, but these should be ironed out. Decent bottle selection. Homey environment, and convenient if you are in the Eglington. Davisville area, with long hours posted.
