Okay ambient modern bar decor with decent pub food fare and it looks like some bigger dishes too. They offer 5oz samplers in packs of four for the avid beer rater and I had a few of those. Some far away oddities mixed with a few hard to find local beers. Pretty good selection and friendly service, not bad at all.

2015-06-03. Feels like like a classy student bar but itís actually a noticeably older crowd on a Wednesday night. What I think may be faux brick behind the bar? Bartender is friendly but more interested in giving his sales pitch than chatting or discussing the beers. Samplers are appreciated. Interesting tap list with a good mix of local and imports but overall not as many good ones as at Craft today. Food many looked decent but I was not particularly hungry and there didnít seem to be much on the food menu that was small and not expensive. Decent spot. I would come back.

Kind of a neat cozy spot in basement of downtown building. Tons of taps from all over, have to wonder how they keep them all fresh. Service at bar prompt, friendly. Like that it feels more authentic than CRAFT around corner.

Very comfortable interior and nice atmosphere at this place. Extensive craft beer selection for Edmonton, which is sadly not saying much when compared to BC, but it seems to be picking up. Service was very friendly on my visit, despite some of the complaints in other reviews. Prices are very steep - $14 for 4-beer taster, and $8-9 for 16 oz. pours of many of the rotational beers! WTF? Didnít try the food. Definitely worth hitting up when in town - just donít expect anything crazy on tap despite the volume of taps.

Located in the basement of a downtown building hence the name Underground. Entering requires a trip down a narrow escalator. Upon entering the space is dimly lit and inviting. Beer selection is outstanding and food is quite good. Service has been pretty good on those few times I have visited this place.

Winner of the 2013 Chuggy Award for Best Beer Bar in #yeg. Quaint, cozy little taproom, right downtown, good tap list, awesome beer geek rotationals, and the food and service are certainly up to par.

Excellent craft beer bar in Edmonton. Staff is very knowledgeable especially the manager. They do casks and tap takeovers on a regular basis. Food is decent and they have everyday food specials that are good and beer specials. Semi-regular.

Great selection of beer given what else is available downtown Edmonton. Iíve visited for meals and beers over 10 times. The service was quite good for a bit and then fell off dramatically. The last 3 visits have had the worst service I have seen recently (given they were not busy at all). They need to step that up. Beer selection is great and they pour it properly. They are leading the charge in craft beer downtown. Food has been good in my experience. UPDATE: Due to my review I was contacted and apologized to for the service in my recent visits. I respect that and feel I should add it to this review. Based on what was said I believe the establishment is committed to good service but struggling with staff (same as anywhere). UPDATE 2: Iíve been back well over another 10 times (what can I say, it has craft beer and is close to work!) and can say with confidence my previous negative experience was isolated. The service there has now been consistently better and I have no complaints. Still serving the best beer at the best prices in downtown Edmonton.

This is a nice relaxed place to go and have a pint, or take someone who hasnít really tried any craft brewed beers before. I love the selection, and the staff are friendly and personable. The service leaves quite a lot to be desired with regards to promptness and staying on top of things, but I am willing to chalk it up to growing pains for now. The rotational list is extensive, and someone is making sure the good stuff gets on it!

Currently the largest craft beer tap room in Edmonton. Still new and getting a handle on what they are doing so I am allowing some leeway. Unfortunately service is horrible at best, but I will give them the opportunity to wow me again in 6 months. Beer is hit or miss, they donít have a good plan yet, sometimes it is great other times it is pedestrian. It is a very comfortable pub, with nice seating and quiet atmosphere.
